I used to be addicted to crack as well. I quit cold turkey 3 weeks before I got pregnant...let that sink in. I hit bottom when I was lying in bed after sleeping with someone's husband and was thinking of how trifling I was being. I realized that I needed to do better and leave the "hood!" That was over 10 years ago. Never looked back and never lived in the "hood" again.

Was just posting on Facebook about how I used to see him on Venice Beach. He joked about how he used break into houses and how he was wondering why these people didn't come home for a few days, then he realized he was casing his own house. Lol.
I went to Venice Beach in 1988 with some of my 3rd Battalion 9th Marines friends and he jived on me in front of some hippies. I remembered him from the Chi (I'm from Gary) Boy I was pissed off, but he got me good. All my boys laughed at me, I had on our tight Marine PT shorts on and he lit me up. Dirty Dog, I'm still pissed. But it was a good roasting season. Them Hippies paid his a$$ good that day. Then 4 years later he was filming House party but he did a show at the Gary Genesis Center and he saw me and started laughing like "I lit your ass up". He remembered that day on the beach and all my dudes started asking me way he was laughing, and "I said man fu@k that ni@@a" but on the inside I was cracking up. His Venice Beach days were SAVAGE. Awesome shows, I LOVED THEM.
