Michael Derosier - Rock and Roll Drum Solo 

The most underated drummer off all time!!!

Michael's drumming is just spectacular. Heart's original is still the best they ever had... He was the American John Bonham with even more clever chops. His solo at the end here is out of this world great.

Perfect tone. Derosier always had killer sounding drums.

Saw Michael at (now long gone) The Heritage bar in Kennewick years ago when he was playing with Ten Bulls. I ran into him at the bar and I told him that I’d seen him playing with Heart at the Colorado Jam 2 in 1979. He looked like he sorta remembered it so I rattled off all the bands playing that day and then he started to laugh, remembering it then. Always been one of my favorites!

Actually, I have been a fan of Mr. D since Dreamboat Annie was released. People should stop comparing him to this one or that one. He is a singular force. A singular talent. He brings his own thing to every song. Even this one.

What's interesting to me is how he grabs another set of sticks before the end solo , must of been a little heavier sticks I would assume but just the thought of that tells you he's a master at his craft , very cool .

Saw Heart on my 18th bday in SC. After the show in hotel bar Michael is at a table with 3 very attractive women. I decided then and thrre to become a professional drummer!

That vocalist sounds eerily like Ann Wilson. But Michael Derosier has always been one of my fav drummers ever since I first saw the Barracuda video back in the day. Too bad his career in Heart was cut short because of all the band drama.

Master Drummer ..Heart was never the same without him ..stole a lot from Bonham but his technique was far superiors and Bonham stole from Carmine Appice it goes on and on ..they all stole from Buddy Belson and Krupa
