I was so upset with the hypocritic Christian radio stations when this man fell into sin, like every person except Christ Alone and this gifted singer was ostracized by those that forgot to internalize Matthew 7:1!!! His music has been an inspiration to me in the darkest trials of my life! Thank god for CD's.
I'll never forget lying in a hospital bed after being in a crash and seeing/hearing this song. Michael has gone through the wringer, but God used him to bring me back to Him. I've been blessed to see him in concert a few times...his voice still blesses me after almost 13 years!
I heard this song first time sang by the orphans in a Christian Orphanage in Pampanga Philippines. 29 kids from 2 to 17 taken from the carton box homes and rubbish where they were barely thriving. It made me realize that anyone, given a chance can excel and become the best that they can be w/ Christ. Singing like angels half of these kids excel as honor students in their Christian School. This year, the company I am aligned with pledged for their tuition for the year. Thanks IMPaX World.
Michael English's singing has gotten richer after his experiences of the true power of God... I discovered him after his "fall", so I heard the old songs and I hear how he sang since he came back to the Lord. He had a lot of raw talent and skill before, but he sings with a lot of heart and depth borne of experience now. I'm reading his autobiography, and his life and experiences encourage me and give me hope... God is faithful and forgiving!

Best & most powerful male voice of all time in Christian music.What a story, not giving up when the "affair" broke back then.Garth Brooks or other secular singers, even actors, can have affairs or get arrested for something, and the liberal media looks the other way. Michael English. I have admired your talent since the very early '90's. Our vocal range and style are similar, and I remember this before the 1993 Dove awards, etc. I would always want to hear a message that reflects the heart over a "studio perfect" version. It is a tough thing to have to perform live when your voice isn't working to its' fullest, but you always amaze me.

"MORE PLEASE?" I believe Michael English still doesn't realize how awesome a singer he really is! Either that or he's very humble, one can't tell. But he IS the BEST vocalist ever! Because of his diversity, musical genius, vocal range, on and on! I hardly believe anyone can really do Michael English justice with words. He's already known and revered by the entire industry. You will see this happen when he is required to sing with others, especially on the spot. Michael unknowingly takes center stage no matter who he is singing with. If you can look away at the others singing with him, you will see the reverence and respect other singers naturally have for him! And the coolest part of these dynamics is, you will never see Michael raise himself over ANYONE he is singing with! He's just so humble! It's a lot like watching Gene Kelly dancing. You end up watching Gene no matter who he is dancing with, yet, Gene doesn't cause this himself anymore than Michael English does, it just happens. Lastly, I believe as do millions of others, that Michael English is an ICONIC Singer along with Elvis Presley, Judy Garland and Michael Jackson, to name a few. And, as do millions of others, I deeply love this list of icons! Michael English easily fits into this Iconic list without my two cents. But I would like to add praise to The Lord that Michael English is still here! He walks daily with The Lord Jesus! He could have gone his own way, been a millionaire or anything he wanted to be, but Michael English is most respected by many for his humble walk with Jesus! I think he'd be the first one to tell you, it's by His (Jesus') Grace that Michael still stands! Amen Mr. English! We look forward to many, many years to come whereby you continue to bless others with your incredible voice, your empty vessel which flows with the Lord every time you sing and freely give your testimony! The whole duty of men is to serve God, in Christ alone. Love this song, it speaks to my every challenge and victory because of Christ alone. I dedicate this song to my hurting friends, do not give up, especially those who have suicidal thoughts, it may not get better tomorrow but at least you will be around to face the challenge (finding your source of strength - Jesus love you my friends), get up and dust yourself of even if its a thousand times.
I love this song and I still harbor an appreciation for Michael English, but I guess I just need to study what has happened in his life for him to let his voice take such a beating compared to just five years ago.
