Michael Franks is the best Jazz Vocalist I've been listening to his music since '83 11th grade, it's amazing how great his music doesn't ever grow old..improves and becomes more meaningful.

I was just high from vibin' off of my family and the other vets in the house. I got up groggy and said this is a Michael Franks / Joni Mitchell kind of day. So I started listening to Lady Wants to Know on RU-vid and saw this joint. I wonder if Michael Franks knows how much he is appreciated?

Michael smooth voice has been a Jazz Icon for 40 years .. R.I.P Chuck Loeb guitarist who was a brilliant guitarist who produced this gem for Michael .. Chuck was a superior studio Giant in every sense... A legend as well

Life without Michael Franks? Unthinkable! It was 'Popsicle Toes' that I first heard all those years ago, on an HMV Shop in-store background system. "Who's that?" I asked. I've been along for this particularly rewarding and enjoyable ride ever since. Thanks Michael - you've soundtracked some memorable moments and refreshed my mindset many times since.

Couldn't have come at a better time just as our PacNW "why spring ain't here" winter is finally moving on. Thanks Bill and thanks Michael for another great song. Coming from Detroit, your music was always played on our beloved, but now gone WJZZ station. Growing up in the 70's and 80s, my mother and aunts always played your albums. As an adult now myself, I am still a fan, and have seen you in concert many times. I introduced my husband to your music and also my son. He's only 4 and his favorite song is "When Sly Calls." I catch him singing it sometimes. He's a 3rd Generation Michael Franks fan! :)
As I approach a half century on this beautiful planet, I can't imagine the last 30 years without Michael's music! Since I first heard Michael on Love 94 in Miami it has been a magical ride. Thanks Michael!
