Yes, thank you so much for posting this! Means so much: First heard "The Lady Wants to Know" during Thanksgiving week, 1978, while caring for a classmate's cat. The album, "Sleeping Gypsy" was on her record player (it was 1978 after all)--so I turned it on & played it. Was in a state of near rapture. I'd never heard anything like it. What a memory. This was the beginning of my life-long love of the music of Michael Franks, "Sleeping Gypsy" in particular.
MF sounds as good as his records during this period. This was his best periods, most fertile compositions and besng vocal interpretations. Subsequent albums are good repeats of these....
