So Gove has announced he is stepping down from his seat at the July 2024 election. I must say, I’ll really miss seeing him quare his way all over the House of Commons.
A competent politician, nearly unique in that respect, queer or not, what he and Cummings did for the education system was absolutely critical. You can tell Cummings was doing the right things, because the establishment did their upmost to get rid of him.

Boris' wife did because he was a third wheel. There's no doubt he was the most competent of the cronies, but it's not a very high bar, is it?
@@lysandersensale2792 I can’t remember the precise details, but, his wife and ill child were stuck somewhere and he took the decision which any normal and responsible father would have taken and he went to get them. I would think less of him if he hadn’t. The entire media came after him for doing something very reasonable, because they were looking for any excuse to get rid of the threat. It was just after he had been looking to remove the incompetents in the civil service and to make the propaganda arm of the state, the BBC, stop sponging off the very people they claim to be serving. The teachers unions and DoE never forgave him and Gove for making teachers actually educate our children as opposed to spending their time learning to break dance and play the steel drums. Prior to this I had, by necessity, moved my children to independent schools. After the improvements I moved them back to the academy and they both ended up with a good education and I will forever be grateful to them both. Had he stayed, Grammar schools would have come back, the licence fee would have been abolished and the state would be operating with an efficiency similar to that of a private corporation. Missed opportunity.
@@lysandersensale2792 The man did what any father should do, he went to protect his poorly child and wife, if I’m remembering correctly. He was going after the major rot in the country, the incompetents in the civil service, the BBC, the inefficiency in the NHS and education. Such a loss of opportunity for meaningful change.

Unfortunately Britain ma comedy scene is now a PC cesspit of unfunny talentless so called comics. Making sure there jokes don’t offend anyone. Which of course isn’t possible as someone will always be offended no matter that you say
I heard a rumour that there were no comments on one of these videos lamenting the fact that they couldn't make comedy like this today. I have been unable to find this video however.
I think they are being very generous towards Sarah Vine in this sketch. She seems pretty flat chested (and chisel faced) to me and is not remotely in the Sally Bercow league.
