Mookie, your interviews are excellent. It’s not easy to keep a flow, so many different personalities. But this is the kind of content I’ve wanted as a fan for 30 years - a highly intelligent and insightful player asking other players about the inner workings of their lives and the game. Thank you for doing this, please keep it up. It’s appreciated. ❤
Props to mook for keeping the conversation going the best that he can with harris giving him nothing. Mike couldn’t even name a single baseball player. Was he interviewing a clone? 😂
I'm watching this part now and it's pretty pathetic. He can't even name a co-worker that he enjoys watching or admirers. He was the worst interview subject by far of the mookie series. Kudos to mookie for keeping it going
Proud of this local kid (Stockbridge,Henry County) the area is always booming during the baseball season,Cochran and Hidden Valley parks are crowded with kids and the parents are great with their love and support not just for their kids but all of the kids,a great area that will surely see more future pros, good luck Mike on this season
OK, after watching more, I apologize for speaking too soon. 😂😂 I'm a Braves fan so obviously I like Mike on the field, but damn is he a tough interview. I think this dry personality helps him in the game, but it's brutal in long interviews. 😂😂
mookie is actually a really good interviewer the only thing i dont like ab him is how much he talks over the guests but besides that hes hella on point
Those criticizing Michael needs to realize he grew up in middle to upper middle income primarily black neighborhoods in the Atlanta suburbs. He cannot relate to the struggles of some as his parents were able to provide for him the baseball camps, gear, etc.. There is no financial pressure on him to provide for his parents as they were already doing ok. Him fitting in baseball was not a issue for him as his parents enrolled him in the Gresham Park little league. That park has been exposing primarily black kids to baseball for decades.
In Michael's defense, nobody goes to Magic City just for their chicken wings. Magic City is a strip club popular among celebrities, rappers and sports figures. This is the place where the song " whoops there it is" originated.
He probably was a little frustrated with Harris's answers, a little bit like pulling teeth, so he had to treat him a little bit like a rookie and be a little rough with him. Didn't treat him with the type of respect he showed Kershaw which is fair
