michael j fox has always been a great actor with back to the future. it saddens me however that the poor guy has parkinsons and I just wish they would find a damn cure already

We all know that nearly anywhere. I still want to hug him. I think he would be glad to find out how I celebrated the one and only Back to the Future Day.
Just Sayin' That's not personal to me. I spread out my celebration. I watched the whole Back to the Future Trilogy within about two weeks before the big day. On Back to the Future Day, I listened and danced hard to music that reflected my excitement starting at 4:29pm in my time zone (Central). By 4:29pm in the Pacific Time Zone, I watched the 2015 scenes (including deleted scenes) from Back to the Future Part II (except the one where Marty Sr. talked to Needles and The Jits over the phone).
I couldn't be anymore proud to donate to Michael J Foxes Foundation, terrific cause and terrific friendly guys. You're all doing great work and hopefully one day we can find a cure together.
Something else people can do is sign-up for Amazon Smile and choose Michael J. Fox as your charity of choice. It's not a huge amount of money, but every buck helps.
because if the shoes will tie automatically in a fast way, they might sue saying, I broke my finger testing them, I have pain in my toes, since I used this shoes I got gangrene and all these lame excuses American people would use to get free money.
+RedVIII in the movie they actually didnt work how you expected it they didn't actually power lace or light up Marty had a battery pack in his pocket with wires running down his leg to light them up and then there people under the floor pulling strings connected to the shoes to make it look like the shoes were power lacing themselves
+RedVIII You should check out Power Laces 2.0 on youtube. A girl was the first to come up with a working design of Power Laces and they work as fast as you would expect them to.

Makes me wonder what great films he would have been in if not for his illness, but at the same time his illness took him another path, his Michael J Fox Foundation, this has helped so many and continues to do so. A true star and legend in every respect.
For someone suffering from Parkinson's Disease, he's amazing. To get it when he was 29 years old, so very young but he's been a truly inspirational person to so many people. He seems such a lovely guy who I'd love to meet just to give him a HUGE hug :-) xx
I can't even lie, watching Michael J Fox auto-lace his Nike mags makes me shed nostalgic tears of joy. even though I can safely say I will never own a pair of these shoes, as an adult who grew up watching the back to the future trilogy this still feels very much like a defining moment in life. #ThisIsHeavy
not really. he is advertising this to mass market while it is only meant for the 1% to purchase. makes no sense and it isn't really great. it will never be affordable to the audience, the people watching this show, the people he is showing it to. what's the point? how is that great?
I simply choose to appreciate the fact that something that was just a novel idea is now a reality, rather than anally nitpicking the situations obvious social flaws. Find something/someone more worthy of your criticism, the man can't even sit still to save his own life if he wanted to.
I still remember his show from the 90's. It' sad to see the disease take hold of him. What he's done since then is nothing short of amazing. Sadly there will never be an exact cure for those already diagnosed with parkinsons, but hopefully research will find preventative measures in preventing future cases before they happen. Love Michael and I hope he continues to fight against the effect of parkinsons.

+fckth1s he has his good days and his bad days like any other neurological disease, my grandmother was mostly still most days yet it killed her in just 1 year so who knows with these damn diseases
+fckth1s depends from person to person i think. My grandma survived for 34 years after she was diagnosed, unlike lots of other people i hear about in which the disease was a lot more severe.

Michael J Fox looks fantastic!!! He is such an exceptional actor and human being. If anyone hasnt read the two books he wrote awhile back about his life with parkinsons please do..its funny and inspiring.

MJF was great in Peter Jackson's The Frighteners, and nobody ever mentions that movie. Very underrated and overlooked. Fun and imaginative ghost movie with a lot of heart. The perfect Halloween movie, go check it out.
Great to see MJ Fox. The Back to the future films were very special and timeless. You will not see the like again. Very sad seeing him so ill. I have worked with Parkinson's sufferers before and it is a cruel disease. Well done Mr Fox for not letting it get the better of you! Huge respect! You made a lot of fans happy seeing you on make these 30th anniversary appearances.
Man I used to watch spin city all the time as a kid, I learned a lot of sarcasm from that show all around lol I feel so bad for Michael J Fox, he's a great man
Michael j fox was an inspiration to myself and my siblings growing up in the 80's. we love bttf and teen wolf. Half of the biff tannen put down s are used daily by us to communicate to each other we forget were referencing the film. All the great scott howards in the world cant take away how much of a defining, face of his time mjf is. God bless the guy and his plight and it literally breaks my heart to see the illness at work on him.

my fav movie of his (of course back to the future trilogy) but also the secret of my success. watching that movie made me want to be a director/writer so i could work with the amazing actor that is michael j fox
