I have immigrant parents .... but i was born in germany ... one time, back in 1996, my grandmother visited us .. she was already very very old, she couldnt speak german nor english. we talked in my mother tongue ... one night, when she was about to go to bed, i played Earth Song for her ... she said "I dont understand a word he sings ... but I feel he has a very important message to tell, I can feel it in his voice" ... I will never forget that ...

Michael keeps asking "What about..." on many things/issues, then the choir answered with another question "what about us?" repeatedly. It's a reflection on how egoistic/selfish humans are. No what how many or how heavy the issues are around us, most of human will only think about themselves.

Something i find really interesting about MJ's voice is he doesn't really have a typical vibrato, it's more like a tremolo effect. I've only noticed this with very very few singers. Like a vibrato of breath.

Michael's voice and his songs are brilliant, his lyrics are intelligent. His dance steps are perfect to his music. He was and will be the best artist in the world. I love his passion, the deep religious message in his lyrics, his beauty inside and out, his charisma, his emotional and sensitive personality. He was a true humanitarian. He'll never be forgotten. I love your videos, your comments, your analysis, the interpretation of Michael's music, thank you so much for all you do, to keep his legend alive!

This is in my top 5 MJ songs. One of the most passionate and powerful ever made...you can hear every emotion in his voice in the later choruses! MJ started working on this song for the Dangerous album, believe it or not. He crafted it over many years. The scary thing about Earth Song is there are no answers, only questions... ‘do we give a damn?’ Questions we need to consider and answer collectively, Michael knew he couldn’t do it alone anymore. I am an avid music appreciator, and in my opinion this song has always been one of the most dynamic, heartfelt and emotional songs I've heard. I usually watch and listen to Michael because of his unique voice and dancing talent (as well as his backup dancers, of course). I don’t know how he did it because I’d imagine his voice the next day and probably playing every other day giving a damn performance this man was an angel and it’s just pure amazing number one artist ever step foot in this world and these hits nowadays are nothing compared to the amount of power that Michael did I mean I love the hits but the 80s and 90s were just a time of History so it’s amazing that you lived through it and I’m 14 I hoped I lived through it so many times just for Michael but it was also a time of not great things love the man and the reaction and also I don’t know how he still did it anyway the man was dehydrated and sweating like never before in every concert

THIS IS REALLY POWERFULL** it took more than a year for me to watch this final part without crying..... not for sadness. It's because it goes right to my heart. Mj had a lung disorder called lupus also had vitilago connecting diseses.. Made sence in his later tours ... U must check out earth song live in Bucharest. He had everything on the stage tanks and all. If this makes u tear up. Check out bucharest.. this tour performance was a one off to the royal family...
