Excellent reaction and great to see people standing up for MJ. Such an important song. As people have said at the time there were lots of light-hearted throw away songs entering the charts and MJ would be writing stuff like this, and 'Heal the World' and others like 'Will you be there' etc etc and yes it's true at the time, the world wanted him to become a laughing stock as they thought it was weird. But look at us now, all his songs have meanings. He fought so much crap in his life. Rest easy legend.
This song has been my all-time-favorite since I was 13 years old. There is not one day that goes by without me listening to it. And even after all these years it has not lost even an inch of it's intensity, it's beauty and almost painful grip around my heart. It still makes me cry of joy and pain. Truly Michael is one and only gifted phenomenal remarkable human being, conquered autoimmune illness and severe accidents during stage performances, and most importantly a humanitarian charitable champion...the sole of life. God bless Michael forever presence.

I tend to avoid reaction channels that bring down MJ or compare him constantly to modern artists like the media does.. sick of them only comparing MJ and putting him down instaed of honouring his legacy, you don't see that treatment of Beatles, Elvis or Queen etc. Just shows how jealous the music industry/ media are of this legend and he will always be King, he's still dominating charts outperforming some of today's artists.

Now it’s one of my favorites, because we’re not in the place to look away because now… it has gotten serious. Very serious and dangerous. Build community with like minded people. Mentor the generation coming up so they view the world with more success strategy and working information on how every action has a reaction. Taking responsibility for choices is so important if you want to shed victim mentality. BTW, I'm a 68 year old southern white woman and I enjoy the hell out of y'all. I loved the content today, I have some opinions about race and culture and I think we all can do better and make a difference. I wish I could sit down over a meal and talk about this subject, it would be very interesting and thought provoking!
A thought: distancing ourselves makes us lose our sanity. Not the opposite. Isn't it insanity when terrible things go on all around us and we do nothing to change it? Just numb ourselves? I grew up in a Christian household, but I divorced myself from religion and believing in God. I just personally believe that "Man" is responsible for the nonsense happening on Earth. George Carlin did say that the planet will be fine no matter what humans do and we are the ones that are ultimately screwed. I take comfort in that. Thanks for the comment Ellie.
