no aprenderá jamás..el ser humano estamos abocados a la destrucción y la extinción, somos la especiae mas dañina del planeta y seremos quien lo destruya...
Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi was in the 70's, so that's even MORE head of time. It was out pretty much the same time as The Lorax, which I find interesting, both of which are cautionary tales about the environment.
My mother had taped this music video from MTV onto a VHS tape when I was little and after having seen it, I remember being the only kid left in kindergarten waiting to be picked up, so I spent that time outside in the sandbox, pretending to be MJ in that video and letting the sand run through my fingers like a weirdo, lmao. Fortunate no one saw that...
EXTRAORDINARY!! The only word that fits. I don't care what other people think. Michael Jackson had a beautiful heart and soul. Nobody can change my mind. Do your research and don't take the media's word for it.
I always loved that song but it & especially the video makes me cry. What our species does to non-human species breaks my heart. And with what's happening in the Amazon I keep thinking about not only the environmental effects but what thousands of animals are going through right now. I'm heartsick.
@Kevin Burrow Propaganda implies it's either false or not entirely true. Can you tell us which parts are "propaganda?" Because I'm pretty sure the Dodo bird didn't wake up one morning and decide it wanted to go extinct.
The video was filmed in four geographic regions (Americas, Europe and Africa). The first location was the Amazon Rainforest, the second scene was a war zone in Karlovac, Croatia. Third location was Tanzania & the final location was in Warwick, New York. In 2017, ShortList's Dave Fawbert listed the song as containing "one of the greatest key changes in music history". MJ's intent was to create a song that was lyrically deep yet melodically simple, so the whole world, particularly non-English-speaking fans, could sing along. He conceptualized a song that had an emotional message. MJ received the Genesis Award: 1995 Doris Day Music Award, given each year for animal sensitivity. In 2008, a writer for the Nigeria Exchange noted, "'Earth Song' drew the world's attention to the degradation and bastardization of the earth as a fall out of various human activities"
The Amazon?? There are 3 times more fires burning in Angola and Congo right now! What about the fires in Siberia, and so on. And that's just one aspect. You only get to hear what you are needed to hear.
I have this song on dvd. He was giving a warning. It’s not to late to change it. 🧡 Brian May redid the song born free. He said if we don’t do something their may not be any lions left in Africa. ❤️
Michael was too pure & good hearted for this world. I think He saw the world the way none of us regular ,poor people can see it, because were all wrapped up in trying to survive working etc .... But he had the money & ability to see what was happening in the world & how weve been fking the planet up and have been for over 75 years . He saw things in the world 90% of us knew nothing about.
thankfully calling the amazon "lungs of the world" is wrong, but still, doesn't change the message, and destroying it to plant soybean is certainly not helping. If you're curious, ocean represents 50% off those lungs, and forests the other 50 if we simplify, but especially young and growing trees. Old trees, not really. ( but again, it's always better to keep them where they are, or let them regrow if you cut them, which is not brazil idea.) Just saying, because in the future a lot of countries might "create" forests, let them grow, cut, and do it again and again to consume co2 faster than a regular forest would.
thank u for ur reaction it was so pure & respectful u werent afraid to allow it to move you This video & sing will change u if ur not already hardened on the inside BLESS U
Very astute!! We're to busy worrying and not doing much,to busy looking out for ourselves and not the planet. We start to look after the planet and it will look after us!!!!
Love your channel and your reactions to the songs & videos. Michael had such a tender heart, I can't imagine how he would feel if he was alive today to see what is going on in this world today.
This song is one of my favourites along with the man in the mirror. Great reaction it's very sad but true we are killing our plant we all need to make changes now to make sure our planet survives
I literally typed in Shaq as a clone and it led me to your video and then I seen this earth song reaction by MJ. I’m so glad I came across your channel King. This reaction has inspired me to cover this song on my channel, this message needs to be spread everywhere through every possible vessel. Michael was truly ahead of his time. This is so relevant to what’s currently happening, nothing is by accident and everything is in divine order so thank you for extending your energy. Peace and love. 🙏🏾💯
I just discovered your channel the other day and have been binging on it ever since. I enjoy them so much! I love your passion, your heart.. you are awesome my friend!
This is one of the most powerful songs you will ever hear!!!...he made this song for his mother..her religion believes according to the bible that the earth will be restored to a beautiful place..the way God had intended before man destroyed it...including those who have died will be resurrected.
That was Michael Jacksons favorite song. He was truly amazing. Like Elvis Presley he too was dead by the age of 50. I guess the best dont stay very long.
That song was made over 10 years go. Did you see the dead elephants with the tusks missing to be sold on the black market for their ivory? What about the indigenous people being driven from their home land and forced into the city or to die left alone? That is what "What about us" is all about.
What a horrible, beautiful, damning, hopeful song!!! Gawd I miss Michael! PLEASE can we learn before it's too late! 🤬🤬🤬😱😱😱🤗🤗🤗✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻 Had forgotten about this song...thanks so much for posting! Going right onto one of my playlists! (Similar idea, and way before I remember ever hearing about environmentalism, listen to Marvin Gaye's "Mercy Mercy Me (the Ecology)"!)
Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi got there wayyyyyyyy before this song when it came to cautionary tales about the environment. Big Yellow Taxi, you've got to listen to it.
I love this song Thank you for reacting to it. Could you please react to Bridge Over Troubled Waters by Simon & Garfunkel. Please. I could really use a friend right now
Remember the Amazon burned down well a lot of it did and he wrote this song in the 90's. he was murdered because he wouldn't shut up about tings like this and racism and Police Brutality and all the stuff that is happening now.
Pleeeeeze react to Frida Boccara 'Un jour un enfant', with which she won the Eurovision Song Festival in 1969 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vG57O5kFkv8.html Another great son by her is 'Cent Mille Chansons'.
Make some research about the where he recorded his a music video he recorded in four different places in a lot of bad things were going on around those places in the very sad Michael Jackson was trying to open our eyes to the truth in it so sadly most of the places they recorded the video they’re gone they were actors are dancers there are people from those four different places just do some research you would be surprised
The pinnacle of all MJ's achievements. This hurts so deep. What a tragic life and death of maybe the purest soul who lived in my lifetime. I grieve for him and his tarnished reputation.
I just love your comment. So many people I have seen always treat him so unfair and he was like you said a purest human being he can ever be. I will always love him for his personality and his love for us and the whole world. I will always spread his message and love for our world.
These sad things happened to him was as a result of his selfish Father Joe Jackson who sold his pour soul to the devil in the music industry and that's why he went through all that suffering , he wasn't just going through hell because of a record deal but his was trying to get his soul back but he didn't succeed.
Great song! MJ was definitely ahead of his time and many of his songs are right on point today. Try listening to Heal The World and of course Man in The Mirror
Even though this song/video was done a while ago now, it's very timely now. We humans are a scourge to the earth when we should be "stewards of the earth". It was a perfect eco-system at one time and it's just so out of balance now with all of the toxins and abuse we heap on it. Very good to react to this - thank you.
just watched the whole video on full screen. Never was a Michel Jackson fan. But this song is so intense. makes me cry every time. So sad. He saw it, he was I think a very gentle soul. That really cared. So sad what they did to him.
Great video man! You keep pulling these great songs. Keep up the good work. If at all possible I'd like to see a reaction to Paul Simon. The song Diamonds on Soles of her shoes. I think you'll really enjoy it!
