This is album sales alone, not copies. If you included the singles yes, I’m pretty sure he moved over 1 billion copies worldwide. Thriller did over 100M alone.

That’s not to say that they didn’t want his singles, because including streaming, “Billie Jean” has sold an estimated 41.9 million copies making it the third best selling single of all time. He is the only artist with three songs in the top 20 best selling singles list. You probably already know all of that though. I digress. You’re right, “Xscape” did sell well over two million, it sold almost three million. If you’re implying it sold a lot more than that, you would be wrong. It also didn’t go #1 on 90 countries. None of his albums did. In fact the album that went #1 in the most countries was a Madonna album and it was in like 30 something countries. I also doubt that “Blood on the Dancefloor” has sold 2 million more copies since 2017. It is however the best selling remix album of all time.
