Sony also hated him cause MJ knew how crooked these industries were. He bought 50% and had major control of his career and made money.....they with the help of others tried to destroy him image and jealous of how smart he was on making money, donated millions to help the children and others. MJ is still LOVED today, we miss you MJ! If only he can actually see the Love. This is it in 3D would of been out of this world. Dam I miss him.. Too bad when he took a break after being accused he didn't come back stronger with his concerts to tell the accusers f-u with your BS, his fans would still be there for him which would of made him stronger with packed concerts.

[Verse 1] Love was taken from a young life And no one told her why Her direction has a dim light From one more violent crime [Interlude] She innocently questioned why Why her father had to die She asked the men in blue How is it that you get to choose Who will live and who will die Did God say that you could decide? You saw he did not run And that my daddy had no gun [Verse 2] In the middle of a village Way in a distant land Lies a poor boy with his broken toy Too young to understand He's awaken, ground is shaking His father grabs his hand Screaming, crying, his wife's dying Now he's left to explain [Pre-Chorus] He innocently questioned why Why his mother had to die What did these soldiers come here for? If they're for peace, why is there war? Did God say that they could decide Who will live and who will die? All my mama ever did Was try to take care of her kids We're innocently standing by Watching people lose their lives It seems as if we have no voice It's time for us to make a choice Only God could decide Who will live and who will die There's nothing that cannot be done If we raise our voice as one [Chorus] They've gotta hear it from me They've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from us We can't take it We've already had enough They've gotta hear it from me They've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from us We can't take it We've already had enough They've gotta hear it from me They've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from you, baby We can't take it We've already had enough (Deep in my soul baby) Deep in your soul and let God decide (Deep in my soul) It's up to me and I am still alive They've gotta hear it from us We can't take it We've already had enough It's going down baby (Just let God decide) It's going on baby (Just let God decide) Deep in my soul baby We've already had enough They've gotta hear it from me They've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from us We can't, we can't We've already had enough You're my lover We've already had enough They've gotta hear it from me, in the dark from me As my brother, it's too much from me As my brother, baby As my lover We've already had enough (Aaow!) [Outro] Oh lord, oh lord Deep in my soul, babe Oh no Why did you do it? Why did you do it? Please don't let it Oh no, oh no Why did you do it? Oh, don't do it Oh no, oh no, oh no Please don't do it Why did you do it? Oh no, hold on Yeah

Learn from his life and what he did for us. He did it for us. Everything he was is also in us :) we just have to use it and transform it into light for this world. Let's do it and inspire others as well! He wasn't a legend...he was one of us and used his soul Power. We all can do it, no matter in which area. Follow your dreams and your goals...and be a light for others. Lets start now. We need it. The world needs it. We can start by being a light in this pandemic and brainwashing that is going on right now.

So many of Michael Jackson’s songs speak of the inequality and social injustices we witnessed back then and still, unfortunately, witness today. “They Don’t Care about Us”, “Scream”, “Money”, Tabloid Junkie”, “Leave Me Alone”, “Privacy”, “We’ve Had Enough”, “Why You Wanna Trip on Me”, etc. Damn, so many songs from MJ. Most of those songs were written between 1991 and 1995. MJ certainly knew what was up. The situation is even worse, today.

Yeah! The first story that Michael is telling in this song is of police brutality, probably against black people. A little girls father gets a gun held to him for no reason and the trigger gets pulled and he dies. The second story is of a little boys mother who was killed by soldiers in a war that she had no part in.

If you're reading this, as of this posting January 2020, Australia is burning, Amazon burned too last year. The Middle East and the United States are in high tension. Lyrics: Love was taken from a young life And no one told her why Her direction has a dimelight From one more violent crime She innocently questioned why Why her father had to die She asked the men in blue How is it that you get to choose Who will live and who will die Did God say that you could decide? You saw he didn't run And that my daddy had no gun In the middle of a village Way in a distant land Lies a poor boy with his broken toy Too young to understand He's awaken, ground is shakin His father grabs his hand Screaming, crying, his wife's dying Now he's left to explain He innocently questioned why Why his mother had to die What did these soldiers come here for? If they're for peace, why is there war? Did God say that they could decide Who will live and who will die? All my mama ever did Was try to take care of her kids We're innocently standing by Watching people lose their lives It seems as if we have no voice It's time for us to make a choice Only God could decide Who will live and who will die There's nothing that can't be done If we raise our voice as one They've gotta hear it from me They've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from us We can't take it We've already had enough They've gotta hear it from me They've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from us We can't take it We've already had enough They've gotta hear it from me They've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from you baby We can't take it We've already had enough Deep in my soul baby Deep in your soul and let God decide Deep in my soul It's up to me and I'm still alive They've gotta hear it from us We can't take it We've already had enough It's going down baby Just let God decide, It's going on baby Just let God decide Deep in my soul baby We've already had enough They've gotta hear it from me They've gotta hear it from you They've gotta hear it from us We can't, we can't We've already had enough

This is one of the many songs Michael wrote and performed after he was banished from the United States. A majority his music during that time dealt with social issues and deep emotional, personally complex life experiences. "invincible" is very good album, but radio stations refused to help promote it. A large majority of U.S. citizens are judgmental and slow to forgive. Even if a person has been proven not guilty for an alleged crime, some in the U.S. refuse to believe the judicial process, and form their own opinion even if they have no factual information .

I feel what you are saying; however, he was not banished from the U.S. He still held citizenship in the U.S. and chose not to stay here, understandably. If they ransacked the place you lived at and you had the financial means to live, many people would perhaps choose to leave as well. MJ did not in any way declare political asylum. There have been political musical artists who actually were banished from their places of birth for the music they made (ex. Gilberto Gil, Miriam Makeba and Hugh Masekela, etc.). Michael returned to the states in the last part of his life, so he definitely wasn't banished. Invincible is actually one of my favorite albums from MJ, and it definitely was promoted by radio (and had a huge television special featuring a song or two from the album)- it just wasn't heavily promoted by POP radio. Songs from the album definitely were played by soul/R&B/AC stations at the time. I remember hearing from folks used to his more pop-themed songs that the album was 'too soulful'. The other thing is that the album went past the budget doled out by Sony; and they wanted him to tour the album, and he refused to... thereby putting the stops to more major promotion. Then September 11th happened, and that changed everything, not just for how Invincible was promoted, but the industry as a whole. Anyone, and especially MJ should have known to not put faith in record companies. He worked for Motown as a child so he knew how scammy the business was. He tried to get a seat at the table but they are always going to exploit labor. Michael was just an employee to exploitative execs. He realized that far too late. To me, it's not about people in the U.S. being 'too judgemental'. The very foundation of the U.S. is exploitation, be it the record industry, the prison system or the government. This is a HUGE component of what the HIStory album is about. Talking about this stuff was not Michael's first go-round. Michael was still selling records for Sony at the rates they wanted, so he could sing all the political songs he wanted. By the time Invincible rolled around he outlived his usefulness as a 'good worker' for the boss. So they didn't put that much energy into him. Michael made the mistake of thinking he had enough leverage there. But capitalism does not care about what you did in the past... Are you benefiting us now? People will disagree with me, but Michael was as expendable as any other Sony artist. He wasn't targeted because he was Michael Jackson. They stopped the focus on him because he was draining their ability to profit off him. Nothing new. Once 1991/1992 rolled around they supported him less and less, because he was a liability due to the controversies which followed him- remember how Black or White got banned? But he was still selling records and tours. They got what they wanted out of him when he sold half the ATV catalog, eventually selling off 75% of the shares- why else would they need him? Sony now owns 100% of ATV. Context is really important. I see a lot of comments about Michael not getting any support behind Invincible, but this situation was a long time coming, if you study his relationship with CBS and then Sony. He's ALWAYS had battles with the company. He stopped being a 'golden child' LONG before 2001. Be well...

This song is so fucking brilliant. This is one of the things we mean when we say that Michael was genuinely ahead of his time. Although I wish he did put this on Invincible, I do understand why he didn't. Not only did he feel that it didn't really fit very well with the other songs on the album, but because Invincible was so sabotaged by Sony, it most likely wouldn't have been very successful despite how powerful it is. At least it was released after his death, but it's an absolute shame that the song had to wait such a long time.

I think that’s exactly why they drag him. Michael was way more powerful than anyone gives him credit for. His global influence, especially over the youth of the world, is unparalleled. Borders, language barriers, cultural differences didn’t exist for him as it does for many powerful people such as politicians and religious leaders. His messages of unity, acceptance, love and individual empowerment are counterproductive to dividing and conquering the masses.

US media must apologise greatly with a biggest fine due to such a big mistake.

@@sunowl5301 The one who accused him of molestation said on the news he lied. This was after MJ died. Media made sure that never was heard again but for those of us who heard it know and knew they lied about it so his image would still be tainted. Sad how people (Media) like to praise and ruin celebrities all in one breathe. They control what they want us to see and believe

Right there’s no reason to molest children if you have these girls wanting to be with you,and the sad part is they still said he did when he passed away.

It's almost like he's singing about what we're going through as of now " She asked the men in blue( Police) How is it that you get to choose Who will live and who will die Did god say that you could decide ?" & "You saw he didn't run And then my daddy had no gun" .... Mj was definitely before his time.

Exactly what I was gonna say, Injustice is rife throughout history unfortunately, and we've got a way to go before its gone.

Matt Bowen True but it seems as if police are just purposely killing innocent people... I know it's been going on for years but it only seems as if police brutality only gets worse...

It's a tough situation in America, with the amount of guns floating about, any policemen could be pulling a person over who is armed, so I think it creates a very tense atmosphere. That does not excuse any of these police who get this uniform and badge and suddenly think they have the power to push people around. And then there's those who shoot unarmed people in the back... It's such a complex situation. Even more recently we see the police in catalonia savagely beating up unarmed civilians, how it goes unpunished is insane,I guess they are working for the government, when it should be about keeping the people safe and protecting them, yet here they are beating their own people. I just hope it doesn't get worse in the future (Im assuming there will be points where it does) and we end up having some police state.

Matt Bowen I was just about to bring up the Catalonia situation. It was horrible. Policemen were deliberately beating helpless seniors, innocent children and adults. It was the saddest thing to watch, and to think it was because they only wanted rights made my blood boil. And If we look back to the nineties, police brutality was more common than now, but it's as though it's slowly starting to happen again. Sad case.
