@@BartAllen Exactly, although, I found out about it reading it from an article. There's also a theory that Michael was an anime fan as well, how it's attire during the Dangerous and HIStory era was based upon Saint Seiya: Knights Of Zodiac
@@Merdicano There is a Taj Jackson livestream that kinda went deep into Michael's opinions on Anime. I forgot which one it is since there is a ton of information. But I recommend checking out his videos to find that information.
I always said he favored and sounded like pre-surgery Michael Jackson. I know a lot of people disagreed with me but I'm glad he's gonna play his uncle.
Big fan RBG! Yeah I think so too, I hope his acting will be at least ok And I pray there won't be any inaccuracies, cause as much as i love the miniseries from 1993, they got all the dates and events mixed up lol
FBI investigated Michael Jackson for 14 years, meanwhile Jeffery Epstein was trafficking underage girls to an unknown island for Super Rich of the Western World. Let that sink in. And what did FBI get after 14 years against MJ, nothing.
Michael Jackson is innocent and has been proven innocent in a court of law in ALL 14 counts. Anyone can read the evidence as it's public record. Jafaar Jackson is very talented and grew up with his Uncle. It couldn't be a better choice. I can't wait for the biopic. God bless him. Rest In Peace Michael Jackson ❤️✨🙏🏼✨❤️
When we talk about a Michael Jackson movie, I don't think his whole life was just that part of his life. The accusations on the kids, if we're making a movie I do believe you don't sugar coat anything but, telling true facts and focus on his persona, the music, and the life of him growing up to the man we see. I think that should be the focus. He was so much bigger than just that accusations on his life.
Why would it would be a problem to talk about the allegations. It’s part of his story and all the evidence pointed to his innocence. It was just greedy parents trying to use there kids for money.
No one knows a person better than family. I’m interested. Before all the controversy, I was a big MJ fan and I’m still a fan. I list to his music still. A rare talent gone way too soon. If they can capture his energy on screen, that will be incredible.
Right. That's why they didn't help at all when religion came first. A Jehova's witness lets the person sacrifice itself for whatever sake, and doesn't agree with medicine even for a random flu 😷🤧🤧
It's 2023, and we all know (by evidence) that those controversies were not true. So it shouldn't be a problem making 1 or more than 1 movies about this man, he innocent period
Yea it’s very wierd how everyone is just sliding the facts and ignoring all the inconsistencies within the documentary but obviously choosing a side without saying anything
There’s enough court documents, transcripts, a literal court case proving his innocence and that he was acquitted of all charades in 2005, and also that the FBI had him on surveillance since 1993 which proved he did NOTHING to harm anyone.
I truly hope that this upcoming Michael Jackson biopic that was approved by The Jackson family and being overseen by his children can reach the same level of quality, greatness and success as the Bohemian Rhapsody Movie!
Michael was. Proven not guilty of those sexual abuse accusations, so stop with the BS. And make a movie that shows the real Michael Jackson. A humanitarian, love for all people not just people of color! He was a beautiful human being and is missed dearly!!!!!! 4:52
Michael Jackson was and always be the talent above all. I find him also to be the most tragic stories of all time. He was eaten up and spit out by his family, his labels, his producers and even his fans. Proclivities/flaws? I bet this movie will ignore them. For that reason, I will be one not paying to watch yet another version that washes it all away. Long live MJ's music. RIP his tortured soul.
I'm a huge MJ fan! And I always said if you were to make a MJ biopic, you should focus on specific eras. Like if I were to direct it, I would focus on the formation of the Jackson 5 in the early-mid 60s to the aftermath of Thriller in the mid 80s.
FBI investigated Michael Jackson for 14 years, meanwhile Jeffery Epstein was trafficking underage girls to an unknown island for Super Rich of the Western World. Let that sink in. And what did FBI get after 14 years against MJ, nothing.
Jaafar Jackson is the one that will revive Michael jackson for sure I’ve seen many so called biopics where the characters look funny and don’t portray Michael too well , in my opinion the Nephew will be best. And guess what his career will most definitely take off just like his uncle. He even has his uncles voice
I believe Michael Jackson was innocent. I am looking forward to the biopic. And what documentary put what to rest? Did the lady mean that crap Leaving Neverland which should have been call Lying Neverland. The biopic will tell Michael side of things, which mean he didn't harm any child.
Certain with his early addition to the movie, the creative team might want to give Jaafar as much time as possible to prepare himself and be up for the task, because it's stated that they're planning on starting production very late this year.
@@dahhmlife Sure thing. Though I'm sure having the backing up of the Estate and the family might have given them a giant advantage into what direction they'll delve deep into the story.
3:59-4:55 Great awesome fact from Robert! Which is true, Michael Jackson was a highly geek fan. He meet up with Stan Lee as one of the potential buyers for Marvel Comics back in the late 90s when the company was a the verge of bankruptcy, hoping that buying Marvel Comics could have led him to portray Spider-Man in a movie (which, with all due respect and as fan, I'm glad it didn't happened). There's also fun-theories about his costume attire during the Dangerous and HIStory era being inspired by Saint Seiya: Knights Of Zodiac, suggesting he was an anime fan as well, and was in early contention to play Jar Jar Binks in The Phantom Menace
He didnt want to play spiderman, he wanted to buy marvel and a catalog of universal studios movies to build theme parks and create franchises, all part of his great frustrated life-long plan of transitioning to movie industry and becoming a director (this is it deal included aeg financing him to do a couple of movies)
He's got the looks He's got the voice. I love Got Me Singing. So Chilled Confused was dope. He's can dance. Nothing I've seen, that tell's me he can pull off MJ's moves though Hope he can act! Hope knowing it's Jaafar, isn't a distraction... Also if he can act. I say throw his name in the hat, for Spiderman Miles Morales
Interesting how many are okay with biopics on Elvis and James Brown focusing mainly on the music and being celebratory. Both had major personal issues. In MJ's case, somehow it's not okay to mainly focus on the music. There was a whole one sided documentary (Leaving Neverland)about those allegations but yet it's not okay that MJ have a proper biopic about his life and career? Of course the allegations will be covered (and he was acquitted btw) but if other less than perfect figures can have objective and balanced biopics about them why can't MJ? A biopic is not the place to speak in depth about those allegations anyway.
I think the movie should focus on MJ as an artist ala the Elvis movie, but it should be released with an accompanying Netflix documentary addressing the allegations once and for all
It should be my mentioned that every musical biopic for a dead singer has always had the Estate attached, it’s no different to ‘Michael’. The producer Graham King has known the family since the 80’s and has publicly said he has done enough research to believe that there was no wrong doing on Michael’s end. So I believe there’s nothing to be worried about.
I'm guessing that's why the media is so up in arms about this. It's because he's done the research that they'll do the biopic in a way that the media won't like.
@@mechajay3358 exactly, media don’t want the truth. They’ve already decided that he’s been a guilty man since 1993. Yet all the court documents, transcripts, literal court case where he was acquitted of all charges prove he is innocent.
The Jackson Five Biopic on VH1 back in the day was awesome! I used to watch that and the Temptations religiously. I think the Temptations movie is better though.
How in the world has Rob never mentioned meeting Michael Jackson in a comic book store before?! He didn't even have to mention Star Trek to make it interesting! 🤣
Well he sure sounds like Michael when he sings, but since the estate is involved with the movie, MJ’s actual songs will likely be used. I’ve never seen him moonwalk or do the certain dances MJ did but he does got a certain groove if you seen his music videos and he can learn from his uncles, dad and choreographers. The family claims he embodies Michael, but the audience and critics will be the real judge of his acting ability and I hope he has thick skin. As far as I know, he has no acting history. He was handed this role because who else to portray MJ then an actual blood relative who knew him since he was born and resembles him pre-plastic surgery and vitiligo. Prince Jackson is also involved in this movie production so I do question what they will acknowledge or shy away from. MJ’s life was so grand but also messy, I think this should be a series instead of a movie, but everybody wants an Oscar for biopics like Bohemian Rhapsody earned. How crazy would it be if the movie turned out good and Jermaine’s son wins an Oscar for portraying the brother he was jealous of and had a rivalry with for some time.
we need a movie, without dance or sing, the real story is from " Joseph Jackson enter in bedroom and beated Tito jackson" its start from here. Before Motown. its would be a " oscar " movie
Am I missing something here? Shouldn't they just stick to the facts with the movie? The guy was acquitted of all charges, that needs to be shown. Why does the allegations trump the fact that he actually got acquitted?! It blows my mind.
You said that if Michael Jackson's estate is attached they will not dive too seriously into the controversy. But for example, if they make a movie only about what happened during the trial in 2005, without picking sides, just reporting about what the accuser said and especially the actions of the prosecutor Thomas Sneddon - you will say that they are defending MJ. But there is a reason why he was acquitted of the all charges, the trial was ridiculous, and there is a good reason why the jury didn't find him guilty. I don't want to get into details, it's not important, but people didn't read court documents and they don't know a lot of facts connected to his pedophilia charges. The problem is that the media never reported honestly about what was happening with those allegations, they don't need to defend MJ, just to report the facts. So anyone who will tell the story about pedophilia charges as it actually happened, will be accused of defending MJ and avoiding controversies. I think it would actually be great to make a movie about that, as I repeated many times already, based only on trial documents and witnesses on both sides - without media sensationalism.
Funny you didn't ask those questions of ''family affair'' when the Elvis movie came out...the level of racism in Hollywood is through the ROOF... But what the fuck else is new...
THANK YOU, INsaid the same thing. These racists said NONE of this about the Elvis Biopic and his VERIFIED affinity for underaged girls. This RACISM is VERY obvious.
Those are the only ones that are good. The American Dream was good because the Jackson Family was involved in that. Jermaine Jackson Jr. played a young Jermaine Jackson in the movie so this clearly isn’t the first time Jermaine’s kids being cast to play a family member. The Lifetime movie was good for what it was. I liked that it showed what MJ was like as a father, but man that actor err actually he’s an MJ impersonator didn’t sound like MJ at all. At least he could dance though.
i think the new movie cant beat " American Dream " just Joseph enter in bedroom with leather belt because TIto touched the guitar. ouuu and why to watch someone dance ? we want a storie, with sadness happiness, emotion
@@Queenskid_75 true but I don't think the family would just skip over it. I don't know how deep they will dive into the situation but I'm pretty sure it will be included in the movie
But why would they get into “leaving neverland” when everything was documented in 2005 and he was found innocent so clearly according to the court the man was innocent so it doesn’t make sense talking about something that was proven to be false why give it any more publicity
Both Prince and Michael took ownership of their music rights from the record labels they were signed to, and Michael walked away with 40% rights to Sony Music. And then they died from overdose… hmm. MJ knew he was going to die weeks before it happened. He’s been a target for years. Sony gained back those rights as of now.
This channel definitely has a bias against MJ. They try to come across as "fair" but it's very obvious they think he's guilty. I'm sure they've taken zero time to actually look into these hateful attacks against Michael, especially the presenter and the woman. These types would rather believe the worst of us rather than the best. However, I'm very glad there are other outlets out there that challenge the lies and propaganda and don't try to be "corporate puppets".
Comment ce fait il que les journalistes non toujours pas compris que Michael Jackson a toujours été innocent pourquoi ils ne parlent pas plus souvent de ce qu'il a fait pour les enfants malades et défavorisés et ça depuis qu'il était petit
The film will either go out if its way to say the accusations are false or will ignore them. Those are the only 2 options they will go with. MJ still has 100's of millions of fans around the world lol, they arent gonna care either way the film will still make a ton of money.
FBI investigated Michael Jackson for 14 years, meanwhile Jeffery Epstein was trafficking underage girls to an unknown island for Super Rich of the Western World. Let that sink in. And what did FBI get after 14 years against MJ, nothing.
I'm glad his nephew is going to do it, I just don't know if I'm going to watch it. Knowing his estate is behind it makes it seem it'll be done right. I don't believe the accusations because I've done my research and that documentary was TRASH, THE WORSE KIND OF TRASH!
My problem with this is, even if it’s a 3hr movie it’s TOO SHORT! They need 2 films 2 different actors, one for young black Michael, nd one for older white Michael. There’s just too much in his life to cover to be told in ONE film
I think it should be a Godfather type of scenario. We get a whole trilogy dedicated to the Jackson 5 era, Thriller/Bad era, and the 90s leading up to his death.
I have admit, I am highly surprised that his casting was that quick, because it literally was about a week ago that they announced Antoine Fuqua as the director, and creative team, but I can understand that they did went through the younger male members of the Jackson family to sticking with the blood and talent that Michael has; also, the creative team would surely give Jaafar enough time as possible to prepare talent-wise on the physical embodiment of his uncle. From the acting and music talent. Overall, I like his casting I do hope for Jaafar to knock it greatly out of the park as his uncle. Now, I'm wondering if there will also be a second actor to play the kid/teenage Michael Jackson if they want to split the time periods
The movie was probably developed a long time ago and they’re just officially announcing everything. We’re not finding out everything the same time the production does, this has been set in stone for awhile.
@@TypeLproductions That is true. I mean, the movie was previously announced back in late 2019, so it's been around 3-4 years that's been in heavy development. And the involvement of the Estate might have helped them accelerate the process a little bit
Saying “Rose Tinted Glasses” immediately gives away your position suggesting you believe the accusations against Michael Jackson (its fine if you do) but as a co-host you could’ve chosen better words to say how the film would go in unbiased terms considering that the audience is going to be split between both views, and it’s a controversial area that has had equally amount of evidence supporting the For and Against the accusations. This isn’t suppose to insult Kris, generally I love her take on things, she’s very articulate, but I think she could’ve answered that neutrally.
This is one of those movies that i can see will have a lot of eyes on it. Trying to find any nitpicks. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be the next blonde
Great actors choice but I don’t hope the movie is ignorant and try making his appearance change accurately. Not changing him is just ignorant. But don’t do it like the last movie where his skin is still completely black during the dangerous era and then just changes after 40
I just hop the movie has style to it I don’t want it to be shot like a basic bio pic like I hate Elvis as a peroson but I live the style baz made that movie with i want somthing similar for Mike
Aye, I wanna see it. This shouldn't be political. He was cleared many, many times of wrong doing. By many different law enforcement. Federal and state. Was cleared. The documentaries have been proven false. Weird things. Sure. But maybe he was a garbage person. But I don't think that should dictate if or if not a biopic can be made.
FBI investigated Michael Jackson for 14 years, meanwhile Jeffery Epstein was trafficking underage girls to an unknown island for Super Rich of the Western World. Let that sink in. And what did FBI get after 14 years against MJ, nothing.
If the main producer is the family estate, ain’t no way there is going to be accurate information. Remember when Oliver Stone attempted to do a MLK Biopic?
Since we are gonna be getting an mj biopic are we ever gonna get a nirvana biopic or a Kurt Cobain biopic I know Courtney love needs some money because all I ever hear when her name is mentioned is money problems basically does this lead to more music biopics
They should show both the controversy about the molestation AND his death at the end. Just like they were able to show Eazy's death in the film? Well, they need to do the same thing here. Make it dramatic, make it bleed so it can lead!
@@Geronimo_Jehoshaphat absolutely their are better choices. Emancipation was terrible as are his last few films. Off the dome I’d say Chaka King, JD Dillard, Dee Rees, Jeymes Samuel, Blitz Bazawule, Rick Famiyuwa, Baz Luhrman, Gina Bythewood, Craig Brewer and on and on and on. I think a black filmmaker would be more appropriate to be clear but there’s so many stronger choices imo.
