Musically, MJ was one of the g.o.a.t.s. his writing process was unique and rare at the time what he would do is he would visualize the sound playing. He would keep that rhythm playing in his head then he would imagine another sound on top of that sound and so on. Everything he did in his head it's where he kept his band. Which, me being a multiinstrumentalist myself I find that feat rather impressive. It took me a little over 9 years to be able to loop sounds on top eachother in my head.

I've have been playing guitar for a little over 20 years. And nigh once has anyone ever taught me how to read sheet music it might as well be in a foreign language if I'm trying to read it. If you put out sheet music in front of me and are like "alright can you play this for me?" I'll try my best but what you're gonna get is a bunch of crap lol. But I can read tablatures and it's all numbers so it negates all the guess work you have to do when playing from sheet music
