This tour would have been so incredible for anyone that would have witnessed. Something that struck me in 2009 as a young man and as I’m getting older, is how incredible his dancing and voice held up to his own level at that age for this tour, it is indiscriminate from his earlier performances. It’s amazing.
@@mrpussinboots4252 Your Really That Stupid to realize that Michael was one. One that can never be replaced and Copied. Unfortunately it was People like you and the press that helped cause his Death. A Death That shouldn't have happened.
He still had the same speed and energy as he did in 80's and 90's in 2009 for those incredible dance moves. So sad that he didnt live long enough to even begin the "This is it" tour. MJ will live on in our hearts forever ❤
Hell no. He was slower than the other dancers which is why it’s slowed down. Fans who snuck into staples center on the 24th saw him rehearse dangerous and he was the slowest and couldn’t keep up with the routine.
@@lucasironside9911 The lyrics: As you went into hell, was there screaming of regretting souls. You came back to the life and left the sinful lifestyle. Now you have became a target to the wicked and to the evil. Your light started to shine and blinded the devil. The brighter your light, the harder for the devil to see. Soul, are you okay? So, you`re okay? Are you okay, soul? Soul, are you okay? Will you tell GOD, when you need a hand? There`s a narrow road to heaven. Whence you find it, keep walking on it. You came back to the life and left the sinful lifestyle. Now you have became a target to the wicked and to the devil. So, you met the devil, when he tried to tempt you again? You didn`t give In and had the courage to rebuke the devil. The devil tried to steal your heartbeat, your breath and your will to live. Soul, are you okay? So, you`re okay? Are you okay, soul? Soul, are you okay? Will you tell GOD, when you need a hand? There`s a narrow road to heaven. Whence you find it, keep walking on it. You came back to the life and left the sinful lifestyle. It would have been the most anticipated return to the stage of all time... talking about Michael Jackson is not just referring to a character on stage who dances, sings... he was also behind the composition, production, conducting... he was genuinely the king of entertainment, blessed are those who were ever able to see him live. It's a shame that today, in these times (yes, I'm talking about my generation), many "artists" who are considered so devalued by "marketing" and music really don't give the slightest percentage of the stature of this legend. "King of Pop", your legacy will always endure and that title is and will only be yours.
His voice when hes explaining things..😍Man i miss him. What a handsome man. Even here when he was so thin and obviously not in the best health, I still think he was so handsome. We love you Michael.
This man is so iconic and legendary. It makes me so happy just looking at him and hearing him sing. He is AMAZING! I cant even do half the things he did at his age here. RIP King💔
He not only has a huge fanbase because of the incredible accolades under his belt, but we also love him because of how victimised he was, there are people still to stupid too understand that the Media killed Michael and It’s our fault, there is nothing on this planet we can ever do that could make him forgive us❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Michael has given me the biggest gift by having just existed. The mere sight and sound of him is so soothing that has pulled me out of some very dark times. I hope to god he had someone like that himself.
@@joshuafakunmoju9582the 7 wonders of the world are places on earth that are seen as ethereal/beautiful, so this person just made a joke saying that michael is the 8th (to me it’s not a joke)
Michael Jackson showed this world his amazing music he made a big impact on people's lifes and our hearts we were so lucky too have had him and his fantastic music and dancing he was the best ever recording artist ever and we will never forget such a man like Michael Jackson it's a name we will never forget we have so many special memories in our beating hearts forever. ❤❤👑🇬🇧🌹🙏Michael Jackson we love you ❤
this wouldve been such a kick-ass tour :( i remember my dad telling me he was dead when he got home from work & i was shocked. r.i.p. michael :( ur always gonna be king
Michael Jackson é uma lenda mesmo!! Em 2009 com 50 anos e dançando como um garoto!! A sincronia nos passos!! Sensacional!! Nunca existirá alguém como ele nesse mundo!! Simplesmente incrível!!
Michael man! He knew. Who's bad? Michael is bad! A freaking bad ass!! WE LOVE YOU! There will NEVER be another! EVER! Grateful to have witnessed it in real time as a young child growing up in the early 90s. Just took my 4 children to the MJ musical so they could learn a bit more about him and they have new found love and appreciation for him. HIS voice though....🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Without a doubt, this song along with Earth Song would have been one of the best performances, in my view. A great black and white video, interesting, classic attire, lots of energy and the return of a big star. I really would have loved to see it! - "This is It, and see you in July... " :')
It would have been a repeat of the history tour with slower moves. Jackson didnt progress and evolve his records and onstage performance. Most of the time he ran through the same choreography and dance beats. If you've seen it once you've seen them all. That's why the 1995 one night only would have been phenomenal since his songs would have had a whole new fresh approach to them.
@@mrpussinboots4252 I tend to agree with you for the most part. I know this is a very popular opinion but I think that the HWT should have been like the HBO shows with more songs from the HIStory album (like childhood or Tabloid Junkie). However, for TII I understand why he with usual choreographic/style choices for songs like smooth criminal, billie jean and the classic MJ songs that fans know. My biggest critique of MJ was how almost nervous he was to change things up. I don't blame him for not changing like Billie Jean, but it would have benefited him more to try new things for more choreographed number like smooth criminal or thriller. I know all the HBO rehearsals were filmed, I think it would be cool if they edited it together and made a TII type movie for the shows because they would have been amazing and new.
@CG In that you are right, it would have slowed down the choreography a little more, but for a 50-year-old man to dance to that rhythm is still something spectacular! Or not? It was obvious that because of his condition and his problems he was not going to be able to do a choreography like in 1996-1997 (History Tour), but it was still fabulous that a man who went through many problems and was not in good health moved at that pace.
@@fmjp5063 I dont like the small minor changes to songs such as heal the world either. It sounded so beautiful on the dangerous tour, theres a small sequence of a dreamy whistle sound before the song kicks in which was scraped for the history tour. Some people prefer the way history tour sounded but I have to disagree. I think the lack of live vocals that came with the HWT was another major disappointment. He failed to recapture the magic that was present for his previous tours, thats my take anyway. I think with history tour jacksons priority was to make it more so visually appealing with huge set pieces such as the ending of black or white and the tank which rolls out onto the stage in earth song. The music and choreography didnt move on either and the tweaks that was introduced wasn't all that impressive, if anything it regressed. I think the big plus from Tii was the reintroduction of older songs such as dirty diana. The intrusmental released is so gritty and dark! It would have been interesting the approach he took to these kind of songs since the main stays would have been a rehashing for the most part. Hopefully more footage leaks soon of jackson rehearsing. Apparently he rehearsed several times a day for weeks before he collapsed so the footage is there.
@@alandejesusaguilarmartinez5769 Well from this video it's a mixture of 3 different rehearsal dates. The stand out being from the 23rd with the white tuxedo jacket and fedora however we know he was only as energetic from the ephedrine. If you look closely the rehearsal in the red pants hes standing around alot just tapping his heel and pointing. Hardly anything to get me out my seat. It's still okay nevertheless but my reaction is more subdued... Again I wish TII would have included more variation to the choreographys. The way threatened was added to thriller is a prime example.
One of the best entertainers ever, we can't take that away from him despite all of the negative publicity He was one of a kind talent not matched by anyone to date. No one better in dance history.
The fact that Mike was able to keep up the speed, fluidity and pace of all the background dancers and even still dance at points like he did in his PRIME and at the age of 50 is really astounding.
FUN FACT: WHEN WE SEE THE OPENING OF THIS REHEARSAL WE SEE THERE'S A CLUB CALLED "BREAK O' DAWN" BUT GUESS WHAT MJ HAS A SONG CALLED "BREAK OF DAWN". IT MIGHT REFERENCE "BREAK OF DAWN"(THE SONG). ALSO, WE HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED TO MJ AIR IN THIS REHEARSAL AT 3:27 AT THE FAR RIGHT CORNER OF THE SCREEN.
Nah, he destroyed his Achilles Tendon way back on History Tour. And if he would've been able to do the lean, I'm pretty sure they'll put that in the movie :)
Actually I'm glad for the question in the beginning of the video ,cause there is something I don't understand. Wasn't Michael supposed to run with the girl ,not with the glove ?I mean all that trouble for the glove , it must be a precious, lucky glove. I love you , Michael ,for all time .
😆. Good question. I think that by her throwing the glove to him she identified that Michael was the guy that she likes or that she selected and the others were not happy about it🙃.
I saw MJ and his dancers do this routine live when he toured the UK, There was a rumour going round that he speeded up his dancing on videos. After seeing him perform live I can say he definately did not artificially speed up his dancing. He was incredible.
To me I feel like since he was getting older into his 50s he didn’t try to have such a super high pitched voice and was starting to go back into his real voice whenever he’s taking normally
Michael's dancing better than the 20 something year olds and singing immaculately at his worst ever health, at 50 years old nonetheless. There will never be a talent like his again. We love and miss you Michael
Some of the clips here was from his Smooth Criminal short film (firing a Tommy Gun, Mr. Big's Armies Silhouette at the Club 30's window & the scene where he was chased by Mr. Big's armies)
