Nate Jones he probably could bc he has more martial arts(look it up) and he has been doing martial arts since 8 and bruce lee started at his teens bc he got bit up all the time as a kid do research on each person not just the one you want to blow
Michael Jai White knows what he is talking about and has trained with the best and that includes Chuck Norris.These two are true martial artists. It's not just about fighting and kicking it's about the strict discipline and philosophy of the martial arts too.
JCVD was diagnosed with Bi Polar disorder. I don't know if that could lead to depression or not but maybe that caused him to be depressed and spiral down. Martial arts master or not we all make mistakes and sometimes things in our lives bring us down. So while he may not train traditionally and often as he did before he became a star, I don't know if one has a dark point in their life and struggles even if they train religiously in the martial arts that they are not a martial artist.
I'm one of his biggest fans and followers and is good to see him on this great interview, this guy is a legend who lives to tell, who walks the walk! Now regarding what he says about J.C.V.D. let us agreed to disagreed, the man did some wrongs exactly to himself but give him a break, let me tell you Mr white that if me and many recognise you now it descends from your first appearance in one of his first movies (universal soldier),back there were J.C.V.D. fans already after Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris so it is not relevant if he went wrong ways along the way because did no harm to others as you said and he managed to put himself back together and yes he is an actor like yourself who also is but he stills in the list of top fighters (martial artists of our generation), I don't know many actors not "martial artists" that can kick and punch that way he done and does and still showing great strength and charisma for his age knowing the thing he went through so definitely not at your level of expertise and fitness but he is a martial artist in fact and a living legend for a martial art fan like me and me and many who tries to follow your works in "and out" of the movies, by the way... can't wait for "the next" Blood & Bone..2?? really thought he was gonna say vandamn is one of the top marital artist...i mean i grew up watching vandamn movies and steven siagal.thought he was gone to include him also.but lot of respect for micheal jai for what he do cause he is great at what he do,but to me vandamn and steven siagal will always be badass

im a martial artist my self karate some techniques from ninjutsu tkd muay thai aikido boxing i agree that seagal hasnt competed full contact and until you do you havnt fought and therefore cant say ur a martial artist drugs or not van damme has so to say hes not a true martial artist is a joke dont know too much about jai white but full contact is where its at id fight jai white so would van damne in prime
i sense a kind of elitist mentality coming from MJW saying this person is not martial artist and that person isnt...martial arts just means in literal translation; "arts of war"....someone who knows they can war and use their body as a weapon....all this budo and zen mumbo jumbo is just cult aspect thats tied with those who do martial arts

Alcohol and drugs he was practically addicted to, which he took to cope with his bipolar disorder and depression. Van Damme has a legit fighting record unlike Seagal. Seagal apparently had some underground fights in Japan but none on them can be found.

you dont know half the martial artist MJW does. mJw has a high martial artist IQ. he has been training for 40+ years and 8th degree black belt. so stfu. van damn and seagal are good but they are not true martial artist.
stfu seagal is not a real martial artist. he practice a few styles. he is not no real fucking martial artis. MJW has 40 years of proper formal training in multiple styles
