Part 18: • Michael Jai White Feel...
Part 16: • Michael Jai White on T...
Part 1: • Michael Jai White & Vl...
--------
In this clip, Michael Jai White opened up about claims that Bruce Lee didn't have respect for American stuntmen, who he "tagged" by hitting them with his foot during fight scenes. Michael admits that he hasn't seen anyone aside from Steven Seagal really hit stuntmen on set, and Michael added that Seagal hits them "really hard." When speaking about the projects he's done with Seagal, including "Exit Wounds" and "On Deadly Ground," Michael says that Seagal never hit him during their fight scenes. To hear more, hit the above clip.

I read an interview with Steven Segal where he talked about how he would hit stunt men for real. And his justification for it was, "If they were real martial artists, they should be fast enough to not get hit." That always bugged me. As a high ranking martial artist (fifth or sixth degree black belt in aikido at the time), it's actually HIS responsibility to control his moves so he doesn't hurt the people he's working with.

Although he read the initial comment incorrectly, to get upset or question the person making reference in regards to the statement, as a high ranking martial artist, in a disdainful manner shows that there may be lingering issues as it pertains to people of any type of status, authority or ranking. He's probably the type of person to do the opposite of what is requested of him to prove that he can't be controlled and told what to do. I could be wrong.

MJW is one of those actors where I'll have NO interest in a movie but if I see his name in the credits I'm watching it. Dude deserves more accolades than he's gotten in hollywood. And Seagal knew not to hit Michael because Michael can fight. If he reactively hit Steven in response, production shuts down for 3 months while Steve eats jello through a straw.

They gave it to a white man, David Carradine who played in the movie Kill Bill When the character was Chinese people are tired of thirsty people who are trying to make money tell lies or half truth about people when they are no longer alive What you so rudely fail to understand, thirsty people want to make money by selling a book, always writing a book about someone after they are no longer here Lee has family a daughter ,who you did not like what was said and how the movie Once upon a time showed him Image someone coming out with lies about your loved one or someone who mentor you. Every time some passes away it is someone who comes out with a book, tv program, article and come with allegations about that famous person, knowing they are not here, alive to tell their truth, their side of whatever happen They have did it to JFK and his brother, Michael Jackson,Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Malcolm X and people are still talking about people like Martin Luther King, Richard Pryor and other famous people. Bruce Lee died over 40 years ago, they need to let people rest in peace. Do some research Lee was more than a actor and he did Chinese martial arts, Kune Do, he mentor and taught it before he became a actor. And he would teach anyone who wanted to study, learn martial arts, when he was forbidden to teach it to people who was not Chinese. He was a mentor, director and instructor who paved the way for martial art movies and for people who wanted to do martial arts like Michael, Wesley Snipes, Bruce's son Brandon Lee, Jet Li and others
