dam mike fucking these dudes up!! man that's crazy he's like 34, years old right here and leaping like this with this much quickness. this is unheard of. just simply breath taking how great this guy is.
Well, Dudley wasn't bad on defense. He just had such a bad shot, you'd rather put Shaq or Rodman on the free throw line than that guy. 🤣🤣🤣 But you're right. Portland had some good lineups back in those days.
Wow, that would have been a MONSTROUS jam at 1:02 lol. That goon pushed him out with his arms in the air. 34 years old getting that kind of lift -- amazing.
Lebron spends 2 to 3 million per year in keeping his body right and in shape. MJ spends 2 to 3 million a year in gambling, cigars, alcohol. And MJ is still much better. MJ, verify classy. Lebron needs to literally save that money and buy common sense.
@@rafikz77 The first half of Lebron's career he flopped 5 times a game and he still travels in every game which is uncalled. Plummer era my ass. Jordan retired one year before Lebron came into the league. He averaged 20 a game on bad knees. There are no fundamental skills now. Try again.
Man, I miss watching this team play. By far the best ball-hawking perimeter defenders ever. That steal by Harper, the sweet fast break pass, and the smooth dunk by MJ. They just brought that every time out.
yeah..all people seem to remember about this team (and MJ for that matter) is the explosive offense..they seem to neglect to remember that Jordan and Pippen were the best 2 perimeter defenders in the game at this time (and for most of their careers), and that's what made them so great
@ 5:04... watch the reaction of Ron Harper on the Bulls bench after the Jordan made FG. Thinking to himself, "This guy is frickin unbelievable." Final score: Bulls 88 Blazers 84. Bulls improved their record to 42-5.
You youngsters are funny when I hear y'all say Jordan wouldn't have won without pippen. As if pippen was in the NBA when Jordan was drafted! I know y'all to young to know Jordan was in the NBA 3 you YRS before pippen, and was leading the garbage bulls to the playoffs. While still putting up 50 and 60 point games. My point is you could have game Jordan decent players which they did and he was going to make them better and win titles. Which he did. Remember you don't make great players better, they make average players good!!
yep exactly...and also remember wen pip and horace came in 1987 they wasnt great players...they actually was pretty bad...they only peaked about 1990. so thats 6years of holding a shitty team and still got 50 60 points with teams near doing wwf moves on him.
That’s a bunch of bullshit..they’re development as players made them better..Doug Collins and the coaching staff pippen for one was a late bloomer growing 7 inches in college and was the 5th pick..and Horace was the 10th pick they had obvious talent and had to go through the natural development stages..what the hell did Jordan do for brad sellers? He was a talented player
Antwan Lee - who are you answering because your statements don't address what was said. What's bullshit? And wha does Brad a Sellers have to do with anything? Are you really suggesting if one player doesn't show improvement, it's MJ's fault? And what about Grant and Pippen's development? The Chicago Bulls winning had everything to do with their development as much as anything but as the OP stated, they weren't great out of the gate. It wasn't even about their physical development as much as it was developing mental resilience against the adversity the Bad Boys put them through. You MJ haters make me laugh. There's simply no reason for it and no real argument that has real merit can be made against him in terms of the game. He's the greatest ever and that's a fact. This suggestion that he didn't make players better is ridiculous or they wouldn't have won. Countless teammates have come forward describing how playing with MJ and his incredible work ethic made everybody perform better by default. Pippen whose game is obviously influenced by MJ has stated the same and more. Try to make a cogent point at least.
I jear where youre coming from but TOTALLY DISAGREE. Mike doesn't beat those teams without puppet, sorry. Popped is the GREATEST asset a team can have outside of Jordan. Which is why I say he's the 2nd best player ever and people go crazy, the guy was fckn invaluable.
I think I remember them saying that he accounted for every Bulls point in the 4th quarter in some way -- 20 points of his own and 2 assists. I think Chicago only had 24 points in that 4th quarter, so he had a hand in all of them. I have a news recap of this game on tape, but have never seen the whole game. Thanks for uploading.
i think that when MJ gets going like that, phil in most cases stays quiet. MJ did anything he wanted but mostly to win games, not to show off or become more popular. There it is the difference in today's games now.
Michael, despite leading the league in scoring with a 29.6 Average shot only 576 Free Throws that Season. I say only because the top scorers now routinely shoot 700-900 now.
This was recorded with a shoulder camcorder, copied to a BETA, transferred to Laser Disc, redistributed to VHS, broadcasted to cable and uploaded via VHS-C.
Another thing i might be biased about the comparison kobe and jordan is it seemed that Jordan would score at ease and make his opponents look silly doing it. Kobe was right with Jordan but Jordan would make you look JV highschool team
When did MJ run from the game?! He retired the first time when his father passed, the 2nd retirement was supposed to be his last, but then he decided to come down from management and try and help the Wizards on the court.
@blackadam06 I'm not even gonna discuss that with you because any1 with a somewhat decent I.Q. knows that even if a great player like say Kobe or Michael plays bad that they still are the most important guy on the court because of their leadership and they do other things even when they don't play well. Sure Kobe shot 6 for 24 game 7 of the 2010 finals but in the fourth quarter he had 10 points on 2 for 4 or 5 and in that game he also had I think it was 15 or so rebounds.
