As a native Chicagoan, all I can say is thnx! He turned around a great city's sports team's stereotype of "maybe next year" into Nobody Beats Chicago with 6 Championships in his last 6 full seasons with the Bulls! Winning the scoring title while 1st team all defense & Final's MVP! Over time some have attempted to trivialize his accomplishments, but nobody can truthfully deny or equal (to date) his total dominance of the sport during this time frame!
Native New Yorker here. When that Bulls Dynasty arrived in New York City, Manhattan would be abuzz with excitement. Offices and businesses would close early and folks would hurry to Madison Square Garden. I had season tickets behind the basket (floor level) and during pre-game warmups, the crowd would surge towards Jordan. Watching his every move. They were in awe of him and at tip-off, he didn’t disappoint. He would crush Patrick Ewing’s hopes each time they played. Jordan was some another world and New Yorkers loved him!
Even though he turned into a whole different beast later on, young MJ was such a humble and well taught young man, his parents did an amazing job in keeping him honest and educated.
Yeah man!! Because MJ was always the darkest skinned player in the NBA and he did break stereotypes and barriers down in society... on his game 🏀🔝 there was nobody that could guard him.. too fast, too strong, agile skilled.. the package of peerless skills and physical dominance was a 9.9 on the rector scale ⚖ the man was scary 👹🏀
10:57 Imagine, MJ never grew up, never get old, he'd still be playing up until now and demolishing the league and destroying the players who are obstructing his path. I guess Lebron, Kobe, and Durant would never be labeled as the best in the league if MJ is still around and that is just a fact
I certainly agree with that statement! There wouldn't be any debate at all if Michael Jordan was still playing about who the real GOAT is. And there SHOULDN'T be any debate now upon who the real GOAT is. M AIR J 🐐 💕 FOREVER ♾️🏆🏆🏆 🏆🏆🏆---6 CHIPS! 6 FINALS MVPS! AND A PERFECT FINALS RECORD!
I liked this video for the commentary segment at the end. Thinking about it, I have no doubt MJ’s dad dying was a transformative event. He was never the same afterwards.
Oh, this is an excellent video. I wasn't even aware that it existed. Thank you so much for releasing it. It helps people to better know the mystique of Michael Jordan. And gives us Jordan fans a little extra bit to enjoy and to adore. Great job 👍 P. S. What other professional athlete ever had a Love of the game clause t in their contract
You have to appreciate how his parents taught him to respect everyone else white black or yellow. That was 80’s but his views in the race politics is something else. Some of the things that i love about Michael Jordan.
Fast Forward to today and just recently This Great Man, and Basketballs GOAT, Donates Ten Million Dollars to The Make A Wish Foundation. MJ Is, Was, and always will be A Class Act
i've always wondered that segment where we see micahel doing chores like vacuuming, fixing his bed, laundry etc. we know that he lived in a townhouse in northbrook, IL when he first got to chicago in 1984 (charles oakley was his neighbor) we do know he married juanita vanoy by 1989 so he obviously would've had to move to a bigger house to accommodate juanita. so how long did michael live in that northbrook IL townhouse. one of his teammates mentioned that by 1986 he couldn't even go out anymore because of his fame so if he lived in a place as ordinary as that townhouse he would've been mobbed there too.
Keep standing tall never let that white man break you just let them see one day you will have ur beautiful Queen""with you hand in ✋ hand for them to 👀 see real ❤ love takes time God""will send you her just stay humble ❤ is worth having when you wait for it.
