Why can't people hold themselves accountable for their own actions? Micheal Jordan has been releasing these same shoes since I was 12, now I'm 44. These shoes are nothing but material items and anybody who is willing to take a life for an item that cost around $200 is truly sad and unaware of how they hinder their own abilities to create the same wealth as Micheal Jordan did for himself.
One of the reasons why I never really got into the Jordan hype is cuz it was so crazed over. I didn't even know about MJ and Nikes sweatshops until recently
we know what we see..we don't see our overall external view of our selves..we just feel our own views that personally effect our daily actions while trying to be a well balanced mentor/role model to however many people that look to us for entertainment..but the greatest has greater responsibilities so give one of the greatest time..to have Jordan money and be responsible aswell would be hard for me..he got alot established and paid millions from being pist off at racist in general or from getting cut one of em idk
Michael Jordan is a person who lives his life the way he sees fit. Do I think he's someone who does things for the black community, no. He has a product that's putting money in his pocket. And if you think about it maybe that's why he's so successful.
i hate when people say how they dont like hyprocrits, when we all are hyprocrits to a certain degree. we all as humans are a bit racist at one time or another thru out our lives. its just to what degree u take it.
+Devante Lewis You know if sneaker fans got together and put up 20 or 20 bucks, you could make any shoe you want by going straight to the factory. Hire a designer if you guys want to but why spend all that for some exclusive shit from some big company when you can do it your selves?
31K+subscribers(and growing)keep up the good work! And white bigoted conservatives say blacks don't have strong work ethics, prime example of a contradictory claim here!
Chauncey DatGuy The white bigoted conservatives say African Americans are lazy and Akademiks is not American so he can't be used as a contradictory example.
I believe you when you say he doesn't give a ^%#!* about anyone. He doesn't tip well or he doesn't tip at all. Not a good human being. A great basketball player, probably the best but not a nice human being.
only thing I've heard of Mike saying about the shoes is how he wanted to discontinue them because he was unhappy with the decline in quality... what did Nike do? claim to use *better quality materials* and raised the price even more. Mike doesn't give a care in the world otherwise.
i been called him out on this.. jordan never come out and publicly speak on the killings and crimes over his shoes.. nor do he make em affordable for children in the hood when they the ones who look up to him and will mostly buy the shoe.. not to mention jordan aint play in years so why people still going cray over shoes tha been out in 1999.. waiting in line to look like everybody else
Not too surprising. You would expect that Jordan was once a very different person before he became the canonized, white washed global commercial product that he is now. I remember in one of his previous books he said he put a tribal theme in the design of one of the Air Jordans as a nod to his African heritage. Which surprised me since Jordan has always appeared to avoid ever acknowledging his own Blackness in any way. Oh well. Whatever Jordan's views as a kid, ironically it seems that he overcame his "racism" by hunting for young White girls at the club every week.
ok...but...if you're gonna call out MJ for having the "limited show release" as part of his business model you've got to get mad at Apple, Samsung, Playstation, Microsoft and any store that's open on Black Friday
I agree 2 an extent...but dude got married and dudes just don't get married w/o caring....@least at the begining...but yeah, he should/could had made a statement....any kind da statement highlighting the senseless assaults and drops just b/c dudes wanna wear his brand kicks but don't have the folooq 2 purchase them....but on the flip side as a business man you make business decisions....and of cause your opponents are gonna disagree...that's what opponents do.
Well said my dude I don't think he give a fuck and as rich as he is Idk why he can't take a stand and do something about limited releases and how people in our communities are killing each other and dying over his shit...he's just worried about money and his image even though this are the people that's making him rich I don't buy his sneaker anymore If he does something the crime rate will definitely decrease but he doesn't care about that But you spoke really well about the topic
