@billyrayvalentinecapricorn this is a fan edit of two commercials put together, the lebron "what should I do" and the Jordan "maybe it's my fault" were two different commercials
@@supraman320It is a mashup, yes, but like others before me have said, it was also televised. That was where I saw this long before finding it here on YT.
''Scottie and Phil Jackson coming over give me second round berths in the playoffs, favourite and stacked Bulls dynasties and with Paxson and Kerr legacy-saving shots are my motivation'' - MJ the carried, and safe in the 90s after everyone retired after bullying him in the 80s
This message wasn't just for LeBron. This message was for anyone who thinks it only gets easier after High School. This message is for anyone that thinks that they can just walk on and make the NBA. I see so many high school athletes, that don't study, that just focus on the sport, thinking that they can play in college, then just get picked up professionally. Reality check! You probably won't make it. I see this video as Micheal Jordan apologizing for making it seem easy. Because he knows, and he's shared that its anything but. MJ was one of the greatest. He was so good, he had to come back and apologize for making it look easy. There can only be one Micheal Jordan.

Jose Berroa yeah super toguh, lebron takes such abuse from defenders and gets guarded so tough every possession. He never flops he always take hits. /justkidding.
From Ohio, been a CAVS fan all my life. Still have more respect for Jordan as a player and this speaks and motivates me more than anything. The real king is Jordan. Undeniable.
MJ vs LeBron This is a silly debate. Clearly Michael is better. It's not even a close one. But let's go to the facts. Updated after Lebrons 14th season. Michael Jordan has •3 more rings •3 more final mvps •1 more DPOY •1 more season MVP •9 more scoring titles •3 more steals leader •3 more all defensive team selections •4000 more points / bron moved past him in playoff points, but it took him longer lol. •800 more steals •Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs (Lebron only defeated 10) •Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals Lebron did it twice •6/6 (never allowed a game 7) •Lebron had much more help •Jordan never had a teammate averaged more than 22 points in the finals.. Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26 •MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs •MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games.. All of this accomplished in 13 seasons Lebron is in his 14th season still chasing the "ghost that played in Chicago" •Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg. (86 vs bos, 89 vs cavs, 90 vs philly, 92 vs Miami, 93 vs Phoenix, 88 vs cavs) Jordan won every one of those matchups except for the 1986 matchup vs the celtics. •Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line. •in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this. •the lowest FT% MJ ever shot in a season was 78%. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%. •MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3% •MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3. •MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9% •MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year.. Seriously this list can keep going. This isn't even a debate. Mj is the GOAT. Michael in only ELEVEN complete seasons with the Bulls: -10 STRAIGHT scoring titles, -Won Defensive Player of the Year, -9 times all defensive team, -9time All NBA, -5 league MVPs -6 finals MVPs LBJ missed the playoffs completely in his first 2 years. Jordan didnt with scrubs on his squad. Jordan played 82 games 9 times in his career once at 40. LBJ only played 82 games once. In 89 Jordan won the scoring title all star MVP slam dunk title regular season MVP and Defensive Player of The year something LBJ has never done. Jordan also averaged 41 pts a game for an entire Finals shootimg 50% and won. Something else LBJ never did. All 11 seasons. Mj has done in 11 seasons things Lebron hasn’t done and won’t do in his whole career... And before you criticize me for copy and pasting just know that it doesn’t matter if it’s copied or not, truth is truth. Check Mate.
The funny thing is that anyone who says Michael Jordan is overrated hasn't seen or read anything about him and the ones who say he is the GOAT have a plethora of logic and reasons to back it up
+Witness I rescind this statement, after this past finals Lebron is the greatest to ever play the game, no one could've put up those numbers and singlehandedly taken two games from the eventual champs, not even MJ.
@@bigbabbyist what happened in OKC don't act like he could win anything as a alpha pippen was way better and KD wasn't the alpha in OKC russ was ask harden
na it was the name on the front that mattered more, jordan himself said what matters most is the best teams,, and he has the rings to prove it. first 3peat, then 2peat, then 2 more..
LeBron will be the second or third best player by stats when he finishes, but in terms of heart and individual skills, nobody is even close to Jordan. Jordan's story, from start to finish, is the stuff of legend. From being cut in high school, the flashy freshman championship winner at UNC, not being drafted first, breaking his foot in his second season, dropping 63 on Bird in the playoffs, the Pistons rivalry, The Jordan Rules, beating Magic (couldnt have been scripted better) after losing game 1 of his first finals, beating Barkley while laying down >40 a game in the Finals, the first 3 peat in ages, his father getting murdered, his not-so triumphant late season return, then ANOTHER 3-peat with a dominance in a 72-10 season that the NBA has never seen and may never see again... it was legen- wait for it... -DARY. LeBron is good. Heck, LeBron is GREAT, but he's not the stuff of Jordan, because nobody is. He may or may not win as many championships, but he wont go undefeated in them. He joined a team with superstars simply to take the easy route to a championship, Jordan took his lumps for *years* and made his teammates rise up to the occasion to win it for the city that backed him from Day 1. He left the game for 2 years and came back still as the most dominant player in the game. He shot 57% as a SHOOTING GUARD one year. He shot over 50% for his career if you dont count the unfortunate last year as a Wizard, unheard of in today's game with players that rely on athleticism rather than a combination with skill. Put him at point guard? He gets 10 triple doubles in 11 games. NBA's all defensive team? No doubt. NBA defensive player of the year? Yep. Leading the league in scoring and steals? Yep. LeBron's legacy unfortunately is shaping up to be "The announcement," "The flop," and "The cramp." He's a better player than his haters give him credit for, but in 20 years Jordan will remain a household name, LeBron will be the guy in trivia questions.
I respect your arguments and I wouldn't argue against Jordan, whom I grew up watching, but some of your predictions for Jordan in this era are far fetched. The game had evolved to something different from that era and a lot of Jordan's hand checking would keep him in foul trouble. And let's not forget that while he was powerful at point guard & the most explosive jumper, he was not particularly fast (referencing foot speed, not agility). His powerful leaping and agility made him look faster on offense than his actual footwork. On defense he slowed a lot of players down with his hand checks. This was how Allen Iverson cross over was so effective, he was a rare breed that fronted Jordan instead of turning & giving him a hip to push. This leads more to question him containing a fast powerhouse like Westbrook.
Tarik Smith Speaking as someone who grew up watching/studied Jordan(fav basketball player of all time), knowing his game in and out I believe I can take this. To your point about Westbrook, you have to keep in mind that Jordan studied everybody that he guarded. I can pretty much guarantee you Michael would have schooled Westbrook just like everyone else. The great thing about Jordan was he always found what your weakness was and like my fav QB of all time Peyton does with defenses, once he finds it he will abuse you all night long. Westbrook maybe very fast and agile but at most times its to a fault, which is why like Derrick Rose he stays on IR. With Westbrook all you have to do is give him space and make him shoot ie why he is nicknamed Westbrick. The Spurs have been figured this out and that's why they always beat them, so in a sense I can't believe you used Westbrook as a argument. To your point about Iverson, as you also should know that only happened once and the next play right after that crossover, Michael with his back to Iverson juked him so bad he left him standing at the 3 point line as he dunked it. To your point about hand checking, you have to also include the entire picture of that era because one thing pertains to another. Meaning the game was much more physical back thing so hand checking was more necessary. So for you to use that as argument isn't smart because its not like Jordan was the only one who did it. He did it because it was available to use and if it was removed he would have found another way. Just because you use something that is available for you to use that is later removed doesn't make it a weakness as you are trying to make it seem. So in general if Jordan played in today's game, based on what he was able to do in a much tougher era, fouls weren't called every 5 seconds, he would be putting up Wilt Chamberlain points.
I was thinking of finishing my workout for today. 120 shots while it's 95 degrees outside and the sun is blazing, earphones breaking, body feels like puking, and every missed shot telling me to quit. Well, I'm not. Gonna take another 880 shots and won't stop until I reach it. Thank you, MJ.
The most incredible part about that Jordan commercial is that it seems like it was literally made to respond to Lebron at the time. Keep in mind he had just declared after joining the Heat that “it was gonna be easy” and much was being made of his raw athleticism. Those two points in particular get called out by MJ
“Maybe I lead you to be believe that basketball was a god given gift, and not something I worked for EVERY SINGLE DAY of my life” gives me chills every time. Lebron maybe great, but he will never understand the determination it takes to become the greatest.
MJ was revolutionary. The shoe game, the dunks, the style, and his will to win and do whatever it took to win. He inspired a generation of kids to want to play the game. No other player has done that for the game. He was def a joy to watch play.
People will say "they are two completely different players". Correct. That's what people say when it is impossible to compare. MJ can't compare to anyone. Excellent in everything, even outside the court.
His first wife left him because he was a terrible husband and father. He treated his sons like competitors instead of helping to raise them, which is why they both quit basketball. He was a shitty teammate not just for assaulting Steve Kerr, but for tell teammates never to pass the ball to Bill Cartwright. He has been a terrible owner, his teams have never made it to the playoffs, and then he ended a 30 something friendships with Barkley for telling the truth about it.
I love LeBron but holy shit, this minute long video perfectly encapsulates the difference between him and Jordan. Great idea to merge these 2 commercials together.
MJ will always be the greatest of all time. When the bulls came on tv, in the 90's, EVERYBODY watched because you knew he was going to put on a show every time. I had the privilege to see greatness on a regular basis.
People need to understand Lebron played in CLEVELAND. Bird played in Boston, Jordan played in Chicago, Kobe and Magic played in LA. Its very easy to get people to move to those cities however you cant get anybody worthwhile to move to Cleveland. Lebron tried to get Wade and Bosh to come to Cleveland but Wade told Lebron "dude its Cleveland, that place is a dump why dont you come to Miami where the weather is nicer and theres a lot more to do" and so Lebron left. Who wants to be in Cleveland whre its 10 degrees and snowing right now when you can be in Miami where its 78 and breezy.
People who weren’t around when Jordan was playing just DON’T KNOW. He was next level. Y’all young things that admire the combinations of artistry, game IQ and athleticism of today’s biggest players don’t know that MJ was the blueprint for that shit. He was the first of his kind and the BEST. Hands down. We’d never seen anything like him. Not then. Not since.
I wish we could but the Jordan fanboys refuse to acknowledge anybody other then DADDY MIKEY as their lord and savior. Jordan the GOAT btw he better then Lebron but I like Lebron more just hate certain Jordashian weirdo fans.
as an MJ fan born and raised in CLE btw I love how this is edited. NEWSFLASH not everybody in my area of the country likes Lebron for winning just ONE championship
It's hard to imagine but Dirk won a ring before LeBron James!! If the Miami Heat fail to 3-peat then all the speculation ends!! LeBron James will lose the MVP to Kevin Durant and he will slowly fade slightly behind him!!
@@rickyeldiablo800 LeBron is better than anyone in the history of the basketball except Jordan. Which I don't think is disrespecting him. Have watched both of their entire career and it's not even close. I have every objective points to back it up BTW.
Not only is this a diss to Lebron, but it really motivates you so much. I've always brought myself down because of my failures but hearing this from Michael Jordan that with all his failures they ended up giving him strength, it's hard to give up just by listening to that. Those were really the words I needed to hear. No more making excuses. I'm going to improve my game.
The whole video is just MJ tired of all the attention Lebron demands and probably also points to the fact Jordan stuck with his team until it was put together to win whereas LBJ went to play on a easily put together super team. Just my two cents, it's been out there MJ isn't a fan of LJ
What do you do when the team you stuck with refuses to give you a team, you go to a place that gives you a team you obviously never heard how many times they refused to trade for talented players to help him win more
This mashup is phenomenal. There are so many ways to interpret this edit. I like to view it as MJ speaking to and encouraging Lebron to be better. I’d love to know if there was specific intention behind this. The message is unclear and that’s what makes it so great.
Lebron said he couldn't breathe against the Spurs cause it was hot in the arena. But yet all other players on the court we're just fine. Jordan had the flu and running a fever and still came out and dominated in the biggest stage in basketball. Was helped off the court by Pippen. Jordan the GOAT!
"Maybe you're just making excuses?" Even Michael Jordan couldn't bring the shit Cavaliers to a championship by himself. Cleveland dropped from 61-21 record to a 19-63 and got first round pick when Lebron left. When Michael Jordan first retired at the prime of his fucking career. The Bulls dropped from a 57-25 to a 55-27 record. WTF. Michael Jordan had the best head coach. (Phil Jackson) Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen; when he won his championships. Lebron was literally by HIMSELF! I will never understand the hate on Lebron leaving Cleveland. It was the best decision he made in his career.
A lot of players left the Cavs that season, not just lebron. Losing half of your players and starting over like that will fuck up the rhythm of any team. Also, Jordan won his first Three Championships without Rodman on the team. You obviously didnt even watch basketball back then.
jas68maro Quit being a smart ass you KNOW what I referring to. Lebron was still the biggest reason why the Cleveland Cavaliers went to a winning record breaker to the WORST losing streak in the history of the nba (after he left). This video of Lebron making excuses is bullshit because even Jordan couldn't win a championship for Cleveland if he was in the same position as Lebron.
SparkitSpartan I agree that before LeBron left it was a good team. But I also know that when Micheal Jordan joined the bulls it wasn't a great team at all for a few years of struggling. But he didn't abandoned the bulls to leave them to an already championship quality team. He struggling with them until they got it together.
I have read some of the comments and I disagree with some of you. IMO Jordan is better then LJ. Everyone has said with out Pippen and Rodman, Kerr, Jackson and so on MJ wouldn't be as good. Well least MJ stayed and was loyal to the team that drafted him. He didn't run for "help" to win. They got that through the draft and trades. That is why I hate LJ he had to "run" to another team to win. No one did that ever as a young player. Another thing if Jordan played those 2 years he played baseball he would have won 8 in a row, then this discussion wouldn't even exist so keep that in mind. LJ is a more physical player then MJ and more athletic then MJ but MJ is a better defender, better scorer, and played against the greatest players of all time.
Michael had a supporting cast that is true, but James has more than that with Bosh and Wade(although yes he is old). The reason of why Michael Jordan is one of the greatest of all time is his competitive drive, his ability to inspire his team and change the tempo of games. That is the reason why the Bulls got those rings at least in my opinion.
From 2004 to 2010 heat fans were real with a nba title from 2011 to 2014 thier were fake heat fans with two nba titles from 2015 and on thier are real heat fans
Why would anybody in their right mind or with any common sense dare to put a big time flopper like LeBron James in the same sentence with Michael Jordan?? Jordan is 6-0 in the finals and the flopper is 2-2.
Blake Bandle KD is better than LeBron, regardless of if he wins the MVP this year or not. It's unfortunate that the NBA is so conspicuously biased towards LeBron; it really is.
+Oh Dreams u must be dreaming.. u must ben borne in '05. i was borne in 85 im 30. i saw them all play. im a Jordan fan till the death. but Bird and Magic owned the thrown before MJ even dreamed of it.
Maybe u can buy all the star players in ur team and win a ring. Maybe, u can chase more rings by ditching your own team and joining a different team. Maybe, u can flop everytime u get a good defense. Maybe, u can just make excuses of not playing with ur team when u feel like shit. - Lebron.
Bruh I don't even like Lebron like that but everytime he's on a team whether it's the Cavs or Miami, whenever he doesn't play it's like the whole team becomes ass. I watch all the games just because it's entertaining but I hate his hype. He deserves it tho, can't really hate on the guy, he seriously puts the team on his back
First lebron left the cavs for them to rebuild. Why kyrie and tristian are on the team. Second jordan would be blanked if you put him on the 06 cavs. People need to stop hating and let the young people talk about lebron. Because back in the day people called people who hyped jordan dumb. Not saying lebron will be the greatest i think he will finish in the top 3. But if he beats the warriors. He will be 2nd of all time. But he wont be the greatest. So top 5 1. Jordan 2. Kobe 3. Kareem 4. Lebron 5. Bird.
Do you really believe that Lebron left so Cavs can rebuild? Seriously?! Ok, I guess if that's what you believe it sounds a bit desperate to me though. Jordan had a better team on his first few years as well. Most people forget that Jordan was drafted in 84' and he didnt win a championship ring until 91'. That wasnt the point though. The fact that MJ never left Chicago. Despite uncertain future and yes it was still an uncertain future for the Bulls a year or two before they won their first ring. Pippen was still developing his skills and Phil Jackson was a fairly new coach but still Bulls never had to worry about MJ leaving. Even he Lakers felt the same with Kobe. He instead forced the team to do something to get back to their winning ways quick by saying he wanted a trade. But they still never had to worry about Kobe being a free agent. Where's Wilt and Bill Russel on that list of top 5?
Does anybody even remember that LeBron lost to Dirk's team? Let's face it that LeBron wines in his past and is the greatest flopper of all-time!! LeBron could never win a ring by himself he needed to go to another great player's team to win his first ring.
NOBODY wins rings by themselves! And no I'm not talking about Scottie Pippen. I'm talking about Phil Jackson and the coaching staff that brought in the triangle offence. It's well documented that the Bulls had no major success until Jordan embraced the triangle offence. So yeah, he's easily better than LeBron but he hardly did it all by himself.
LeBron sucks cause he couldn't win a ring by himself? Okay, MJ sucks, Bill Russell sucks, Larry and magic suck. They never won a ring by themselves so I guess they suck too t-_-
If your a real basketball player and take it seriously .. really wanting to be the best .. You should tear up every you hear this .. Sends chills down my back man
