His skill set was obscene. Truly great on both ends. Here are a just a few numbers. 30.1ppg for his career, most in NBA history 33.4ppg in the playoffs, most in NBA history 33.6ppg in 6 Finals appearances, most in NBA history 41.0ppg in a Finals series, most in NBA history PER (Player Efficiency Rating) Highest in history for both the regular season (27.91) and the playoffs. (28.6) 10 Scoring titles

@@ewolffman Yea, MJ posted numbers for his career that are the best in the regular season, the playoffs, and the Finals. Even with all these so called incredible modern athletes, with faster pace, better skills, more possessions per game, more 3-pointers...none of them move any of those Jordan numbers. He remains the king of the court.

I was at several of these games highlighted throughout this ultimate MJ mixtape here. Born in raised in Chicago. Was 18 in ‘98 for chip #6. It was and remains the ultimate sports fan experience. Not only to witness it each and every night, first hand on dozens of occasions, but to have THAT guy, the living legend he was then, now and forever…do it for your hometown ride or die squad. Of all fans from all cities of all nations of all times…..a Chicagoan, in real time, for the the Michael Jordan experience…..objectively, by far and away, THE greatest. Indescribable . Can’t be topped. Perfection personified as far as a sports fan experience goes. And even when it’s all long since said and done and witnessed….you get to carry it with you every damn day for the rest of your days ‘til death do you part. And you know what?……Uhhhh yeah, pretty pleased with it. Not gonna lie; pretty sweet.

great reaction vid guys! MJ was so far ahead of his time that the NBA and fans were constantly in a state of shock & awe! Never before and never since has there been a player that makes you jump out of your seat every time they lace up their sneaks. G.O.A.T. collecting bodies at the rim and making 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 defenders look like beginners...Jordan wins those battles :)

Growing up in Chicago Born in 78’ Watching from the 84’ Watching the Olympics through his Rookie season until the end as a Basketball Fan there was absolutely nothing like MJ….As bulls fan as a kid watched us lose to the Celtics 3 times in a ROW then the Pistons 3 times in a ROW back to back before we won in 91’ 92’ 93’!!! That is insane he went through Two of the historically all time great teams…. then had Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar waiting for him in his first FINALS 🤯 The only other players that can enter the convo with MJ is BILL F’ing RUSSELL and I love Kobe but he fights for third with Kareem, Magic, West and Bird !!!!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to watch Michael Jordan play North Carolina in college and I was born and raised in Chicago and I watched every single game that Michael played. I guess I was spoiled because a lot of the moves in shots and Donks layups, I took it for granted he is the best player I’ve ever seen in my life and I may be biased, but he is the goat he was Apex predator he was a killer he was clutch. He was psychotically competitive in a good way, he would win it all cost, Michael, Jeffrey Jordan is God

His moves were so simple? That's as absurd as saying Floyd Mayweather is extremely articulate. You either have him confused with DeAndre Jordan or you're in dire need of Lasik. Only thing that looked simple was the way he decimated foes. MJ was the most creative player we have ever seen. Good reaction by the way.

While for Bulls games the highlights were pretty good a lot of times they don't come close to even capturing the context -- the tape goes so fast which I know is the point of the highlights, but sometimes due to the video, yes it does make it look easy but misses just how hard he was playing up and down the court for most of the game every game almost every season. I mean for every single little shot, dunk, layup, block, steal, out of bounds save, no look pass, last second shot -- every crazy move, there is so much more surrounding it, sometimes even a whole story to go with it. The best thing to see was Michael playing -- the worst words to hear were that Michael's coming out of the game LOL. I mean even for those minutes of the game, it was far less entertaining. And I mean this -- even when he had broken bones or other serious injuries, he didn't let people know it -- he played some serious games on things that ended the careers of others or seriously altered them. They did NOT have PRP or things that healed athletes up, and there really was no, except when mandated like his ankle, "sitting it out" -- the man played all the time, broken bones or not. It really makes me wonder if instead he'd played today (but it wasn't so boring) and he had access to stem cells, etc. I bet he could've been dunking still at 50 in games on the regular. With his fingers fixed, and his knees and help with his other joints -- man was still at 40 better than most out of college. Can't imagine what he could've been with better medical care.

Other than Tim Duncan, there's never been a more fundamentally sound player in NBA history. He relied a lot on his athleticism early on, but once his career started winding down he relied on those fundamentals to still dominate. There's an argument to be made that the MJ from '95 onwards was the best version of him, even though '85 through '93 was arguably more exciting to watch.

In all 6 Championship runs for Jordan's Bulls, they only went to a game 7 twice, out of all the series. Against the Knicks in 92' Eastern Semifinals and the 98 Pacers in the Semifinals. Jordan was at his best in the playoffs, and he wasn't far behind in the regular season.

The "Switch Hands " against the Lakers is the most misunderstood thing these days... MJ played 2 yrs @Carolina with Sam Perkins and the switch to the was an anticipation of SP and nothing about showing up the Lakers... Never, MJ had to much respect for Magic to do something that he himself would have considered being disrespectful.

Jordan Rules...pause at 10:27 and tell me they aren't trying to break his ribs to get him out the game. But they could even injure him. He never missed games or sat out long minutes. MJ even played sick and won. LaBron would have never made it then, he would cry a river. MJ would dominate todays league even more than he did back then bc now no hand-checking.

Hey also he retired because his dad was murdered and he said that at least he'll know that his dad saw every game he ever played. It had nothing to do with wanting to play baseball. It was entirely because his dad who saw every game he played in was murdered. I'm not a basketball fan but I was a Jordan fan and watched all his games. He transcended the game of basketball.

Russell's shoulders were already squared to the wrong direction, Jordan's hand was on his thigh. Russell slips 2 steps later in an attempt to save his reputation, the only sort of flop you'll see anywhere in this video. The defense brings it hard all the time unlike today where everyone bails when they're beat, so there will never be a highlight reel like this again.
