Look at the confidence, the bounce in his feet, how he moves with 100% conviction, that's his biggest strenght and it only comes from hours of obsessive work.
They will argue till they’re blue in the face, will throw up stats that are in their benefit but somehow 2011 nba finals never happened. Will say more final appearances matter but never give the context of the competition and state of the conference on the way to said finals. Weakest in comparison to all that came before him.
The second one, especially when looking from side view, is one of the best dunks of all time. The distance, rock the cradle and flailing his legs around he looks like he is flying really.
This dunk became my signature dunk as well in 1986. I could barely dunk my senior year in High School. I was 6'2" and 185lbs.. After watching MJ do this, I said I am going to do this dunk. A couple of my friends said I couldn't because I wasn't tall enough and I was white. I said..."Oh hell no, you didn't". Needless to say, by the end of the year, I could do pretty much any dunk I wanted to but most of all I loved Rocking the Cradle."
You watch MJ as a child and think that being able hold the ball like that is easy because MJ made it look effortless. There’s maybe a handful of players who can do rock-the-cradle one handed dunk and MJ was doing it in college
Fact my father was very good at basketball I love basketball so me and Michael Jordan share the same birthday who knows I might be a star but I'm not trying to brag just telling😊
I think the Leaning Sideways Dunk was more of his signature because no nba player to this day has done it exactly the way jordan did it. The cradle dunk wasnt originally his and many player in the 80s was doing it like larry nance and doctor j.
