Jordan and Nike had plans for Penny. He was going to be MJs Eastern Nemesis until the end. Man that guy was everything to us in Memphis. Just for him to be a rival of Jordan for a small while made us so proud of him.

Lebron doesn't play Jordans style and one thing that Lebron really doesn't have that Jordan, Penny, Kobe, Hill, and McGrady have is that killer instinct. Lebron has ha great games but he lacks that killer instinct that the others had at all times.

You all missed one very important detail about this story. The G.O.A.T. could have worn his own, mostly white, shoes that he wore in the first 2 games for Game 3 and not have been fined. Game 3 was in Chicago, a home game. He wore the black Penny's for the sole purpose of being fined again. You all should be ashamed of yourselves.

The year before Jordan was still playing baseball. when he came back he wore the Jordan 10's and in the orlando series started wearing the Jordan 11 concords and was also the only time that he wore the Space Jams in a game.

Relax Kobe shot the ball better than penny. They both were extraordinary athletes. So they are even there. Skill wise,,,,tough here but Imma give Kobe the edge here. A plethora of moves from any where and any position on the floor. Penny had very high skills and he had a post game as well against smaller guards. His fade away was good. Kobe had that one two dribble pull up and it was money. Defense come on its Kobe bro and scoring wise too. Passing and vision its clearly penny here. Without a doubt. Kobe can playmake with the best of em but this is penny nitche. Penny in today's game would thrive.

The XII's were not far off. They retailed for 175.00 at the time (97). Foams were always expensive. From Penny's to it's cousins like the version Tim Duncan wore.
