Bron isn't a good basketball player overall, because he can't make shots, even though he plays in the era of no defense. He needs another star to make free-throws and threes, and carry him late. MJ was able to win the rings with Pippen, who is a worse shooter than Bron. MJ can carry a team, so he has six rings in 15 seasons. MJ won all his ring with the Bulls. Bron needs to be carried, so he has four rings in 19 seasons. Bron is a ring-chaser, and won a ring with three different teams.
Did LeBron not carry the Cavs to the finals in 07? Or did I imagine that? Did he not carry the Cavs in 2016, against an all time great team? I think MJ is the GOAT but the LeBron disrespect is crazy
LBJ will never measure up to MJ. MJ legacy in basketball will always be bigger. ask kids who they want to be if they became a basketball player they'll say MJ. that's the effect MJ has on kids LBJ doesn't have that mystique.
That’s not a solid comparison. MJ still has two more rings than LeBron, with no L’s in the finals. Tom has more rings than Montana, so Tom’s SB losses don’t factor in that debate. If it’s still 2012, and Tom is sitting at 3-2 in the SB, Montana is still the GOAT.
@@TheRealTurkFebruaryIt’s still a bad argument to use that since Jordan is 6-0 in the finals nobody should be in the same convo as him because if a guy goes 6-1 6-2 or even go 7-1 or 7-2 they shouldn’t be in the convo because they took Ls in the finals? Bill Russell does get in the goat debate because of his era, but if he was in a more recent era and still went 11-1 in the finals, according to Stephen A because he took 1 L he shouldn’t be in the convo with Jordan
I never understood how less teams equals a worse league. Only 8 teams means ALL of the best talent is condensed to those 8 teams. More teams mean the talent is spread more thin. Going from 8 to 30 has has a drastic impact on the level of competition. If the league is so much more talented with more teams, why do we have a lottery system? Why do so many teams win less than 30 games annually? By that logic, there should be way more parity. The top teams should be around 45 wins and the bottom should be around 35 wins. But it’s never like that. There’s a half dozen dumpster fires at least every season.
