I’m not in the NYC area but I listen to Michael Kay Show and Craig and Evan podcasts , I like them both! Best things about listening to it on a podcast, I don’t have to pick and choose.

I’m a lifelong Met fan going back to early 1970s. Born in Brooklyn and always anti-Yankee, Michael Kay is a class act, good guy and professional.

I thought MK was honest in his wishing Craig Carton well. He acknowledged that Craig’s show beat him.

I use to listen to the MKS everyday, but couldn’t stand Peter Rosenberg, so moved to the Carton & Roberts show😂. Let’s hope the Evan & Tiki show works out 😅

Craig needed to make an exception with his comedy routine with Mike Kay but Kay stayed gracious and that is totally cool! Way to go Mike Kay. Craig Carton suffered enough for his sins and you, Mike, did not add on to it being bitter. You were kindly! Way to go!

The pandemic really hurt Benigo and Roberts. It greatly magnified that those two were incapable of talking anything other sports. And the Carton and Roberts show took a few months to find its footing where Craig actually allowed Evan to talk. And Roberts learned how to host a show while talking things other than a football game that happened in 1964. I now worry that with Tiki they go back to not talking nothing but sports.

I live in Virginia and listen to WFAN because of the Giants. I listen to WEPN (ESPN RADIO) because of the Rangers. I HATE the Yankees but ALWAYS enjoyed Michael Kay and always will.

Mike said it best when it happened . It’s like a team down 49-0 celebrating after they score a touchdown.

Much respect to Michael Kay for being honest about how he feels about Carton. Not counting the ratings they get on the YES Network is definitely a factor. They probably wouldn't beat Carton, but it would be a lot closer.

I clicked on this video expecting to not like it. I thought Kay was going to be bitter and petty. To my pleasant surprise, everything he said was honest and reasonable.

I tried to give Craig a shot when he came back, he seemed humble and more even handed, but after a while, the only thing he wants to talk about are the Jets. Also his opinions are the level of the average wfan caller. If you call into wfan, it should disqualify your voting rights. Go Big Blue!

I understand why Kay is leaving out all the other pieces....it makes his group look bad and craig sympathetic. They gave him that interview and Rosenburg went on 5 different radio stations afterwards calling him a racist among other thing for months...Don on his show with his brother, even threw jabs at Craig while he was doing Carton and Friends prior to going to jail. Both of them then attacked him again when the announcement came that he was going back to wfan...Rosenburg said he didnt believe Craig should ever do radio again, calling him a criminal multiple times. All of that and Kay pretends that he did nothing to get the return to sender from Craig after he started at wfan again. They are your partners....

Carton entering the “tv” world just as the “tv” world implodes and people stop watching his style of hot take screaming. Nobody wants it anymore. I wouldn’t bet on him doing well. Pun intended.

Ive listened to C&R pretty constantly for about a year now. They trash the Kay show for garbage ratings, but I don't recall a time when Carton took personal shots at Kay or La Greca(Peter Rosenberg is a different story) , he just bashed rhe ratings

Personally I have always loathed Carton. It's so sad that in NYC his classless, overbearing & abnoxious personality was tolerated let alone revered smh. When Carton was rehired I boycotted WFAN & started listening to the Kay show. Eventually I realized how culturally sheltered & offensive Kay was and oftentimes belligerent. Hearing him and Rosenberg vulgarly hate on & utterly disrespect Aaron Rodgers simply because their small & closed minded minds could not grasp or comprehend Rodger's quest or attempt to think outside the box in order to attain some degree of spiritual guidance & enlightment etc. is when I realized that the Kay show wasn't much different from the repugnant ways of Carton. Consequently I boycotted the Michael Kay show as well. Incidentally there were things that I respecedt about Peter,, but he is not so "down" with NYC... especially when he admitted that he has never even seen the film Saturday Night Fever lol...ya can't be a G in NYC if ya havn't seen that movie...realtalk. Anyway...Kay was always profoundly better than Carton in my opinion, but in this clip he comes across as a sad small person & somewhat delusional comparing his show to Francesa's despite what the ratings may have suggested at a time when Mike F was virtually already out of the proverbial door....not that I had much admirattion for Francesa anyway. Kay is talented, but he is too much of a conservative hater & way too culturally inept to hold such real estate in NYC. Thrilled that the big mouthed & repulsive Carton is off WFAN so I can listen to a mid-day sports program again... on the fan. Lastly...Peter Rosenbeg can pull off wearing a Wu-Tang shirt, but CRAIG CARTON CAN NOT !!!! Carton rockin a Wu-Tang shirt was sacrilegious !

Michael Kay could not have been classier...Craig carton should have remained humble and graceful especially since Michael allowed him to come on for an hour before he went to jail..he was suppose to serve 42 months and wound up serving a year or so...I guess getting out early made him arrogant and pompous...I didn't like how he treated Michael and I don't care if he says he was attacking the show and not Michael personally...it was still classless...the man should have remained humble and he just couldn't do it....at some point common decency has to over rule arrogance especially when u deceived people out of millions of dollars and got a 1 year slap on the wrist prison sentence..humbleness and grace should always outweigh arrogance and stupidity...kudos to the kayster for not falling in to his pathetic trap

And one last thing about Kay said about when WFAN ended ties with carton, Kay had him on and Carton really kissed Kay’s and LaGreva’as and Rosenburg’s asses. And the very next day beat on them. So slimey. Craig was always out for himself

If you take Rosenberg and his political garbage out, the Kay show is pure gold. I put up with it for years before I couldnt take it anymore and switched to Carton & Roberts. Carton was a little clownish for my taste so now I do Francesa and Mad Dog's respective podcasts.

Carton, is that his name ? No, his real name. Not my business. However, he couldn't w/ a NOT could shine Michael Kay's shoes. Ever. Michael can push buttons that are " Radio."
