My last two years of college has all gender bathrooms. There was no difference in sexual assault on campus (which isn’t a flex). It's been a while since I wrote this: I took a Gender Studies course at Texas Christian University (it's a real course & it's not as useless as Conservatives think), & I read in our textbook at 1 point that roughly 7% of the U.S. population (or about 1 in 15 people) is openly in the LGBT+ community, but only a fraction of them are actually in the T category (less then half of 1 in 100 people), so even for Republican politicians, FOX News hosts, & Conservative RU-vidrs like Knowles, their blatant anti-transgender propaganda makes no logical sense (on top of being morally wrong) because they're attacking the minority group of a minority group.

The argument that a gender identity can't "ontologically" exist really points to a lack of metacognition on the part of the person making that argument. What aligns their identity with their birth sex? I'd assume they would answer that by saying that they simply know what their sex is, but does this knowledge itself suddenly make them like blue over pink, or prefer trucks over dolls, or sports over cooking, or whatever other gender roles they prescribe to behaviors that all humans should be capable of identifying with on some level without this preemptive meddling with the collective sense of social valuation? Of course it's not the simple knowledge of "what" you are that dictates your preferences in these prescribed roles. There's something else. Something more innate to the individual's identity which either draws them closer to or further away from those cultural norms. And what about their lack of impulse to reject the "what" of their existence? Again, it's not pure knowledge that makes them perfectly fine with their birth sex. Something in their brain chemistry or their neurophysiology is predetermining their sense of cohesion with their sex. Things which can be altered by something as simple as hormonal levels in the womb. What people like Knowles are missing in their analysis of the concept of trans(or cis) identity is self knowledge regarding their own fundamental source of identity. They take it for granted as a face value acknowledgement of "being" rather than conceding even an ounce of their sense of autonomous existence to the soup inside of their skulls which handles literally every single afferent synapse behind every single subjective sensation they'll ever experience, including whatever they feel about their own biological sex. They like to think of their thoughts and feelings as some sort of non-mechanistic, higher order agency, and they project that delusion onto the more down-to-earth causal explanations for the concept of identity, turning it into a strawman proclamation of some spiritual or symbolic state of biological transcendentalism. Their view of the world is over simplistic because their view if themselves is over simplistic. They're motivated more by grandiosity than by curiosity.
