I like the scene where Julie is ironing Max's pants and he is in the kitchen leaning on the counter in his yellow undershorts!! YUMMY!!!! I forgot this scene was from "The heart attack"!
OK, 'Schneider' - defense time! YES, I've been perusing the comments about the original 'One Day..' TV series, and, it seems a LOT of people have an issue with the 'Schneider' character, 'coming into apartments' unwarranted, and being VERY hands-on with the lives of Three women living together, etc.... ...THAT was why the character was created, and STAYED! Any Actor would've played Schneider as how WE see him, if it were US.... lascivious, skeevy, leery, with NO privacy boundaries, and TOO 'into the lives' of Two young, nubile teen girls....but, Pat Harrington added a sensitivity, and 'Father figure' type aura thru the years of playing the character; Pat DEFINITELY had the chops to add more dramatic turns to the character, but because of the time period (..moreso '77-'84), Pat had entered Fonzie / Mork / Ted Baxter territory...the 'Super' with a Heart Of Gold.... He was SLEAZE-Y when the show started, but it was a SEND up of what we THINK that type of person WOULD be....I only had an issue with the 'buffoonery' of the character; it shows CLEARLY in this ep... Schneider should've had the Heart Attack....it would've shown PAT'S dramatic skills, and showed WHY Ann & The Girls would've rallied to be by HIS bedside.....he's their 'Schneider' .....and THAT'S because of Pat. ...so, Godspeed, Mr Harrington! ; )
A lot of these people don't understand the time, the show or can just relax. The whole point for me watching retro is because I grew up watching these shows. Today's world is so upside down. Everything has to be in your face! No modesty. Social justice at nauseaum. To the rest of you, leave Schneider alone.
despite being a younger fan than most, i don’t understand why people feel negatively about schneider. like, it’s very clear he’s considered part of the family. it’s not a regular super/tenant dynamic.
@@s0urpatchkiddo ...BECAUSE we now are in a society that can spread their biased opinions quicker (by way of SM); The 'woke' generation sees the lack of boundaries in Schneider, NOT realizing he's become a (nearby) Father Figure, for this Family.... ...Pat played the role VERY well, keeping a humourous lilt to an otherwise nefarious character....He IS a part of their Family....
I never liked the character of Schneider. For anyone to use their pass key to constantly enter at any time someone's apartment is just creepy and in this day and age that would not fly. It didn't fly then for me then either. I just found it very creepy and this man would be out on his keister very rapidly in real life.
@@mistymitchell2790 That is not normal and it is illegal! Install a video monitoring system to capture the crime as your land lord illegally enters your rental. Be sure to have everything well documented because you'll need the landlord to pay for your professional counseling to help deal with the DAMMAGE that your landlord is inflicting upon you.
@@schewitt1977 So what. The song Baby it's cold outside was back in the late 40's and nothing was creepy about it when that came out. And just a couple of years ago, it became a big hullabaloo and TCM classic movies even contemplated taking it off their rotation of movies. Yes, the times it is in can make somethings acceptable and not acceptable. A janitor(maintenace engineer) using his passkey to enter your apartment any time he pleased is just creepy and wrong. Period.
