something to look for for anyone who wants to do a similar custom job for this mask: I work at party city and we got a bunch of these masks in and I noticed that a handful didn't have the cobwebs/mold, so if you're planning on doing a custom job then I'd suggest looking through all the masks to see if there are any sans webs/mold just to save time.
I have a Halloween Kills mask from TOTS when they first released them, I wanted to add weathering to it to make the wrinkles pop out more as I am already pretty satisfied with the quality of the mask. Just want to make it look a little more aged. I enjoyed the video! Good on ya!
For the kills mask being so glossy compared to H18, did you do anything to remove that or did you just go right to painting? I figured that the glossiness took away a lot of the existing line work…
You can technically do a rehal on this mask to make it look like halloween kills In my opinion, by default the tots halloween ends mask looks more simular to halloween kills minus the blood and burn marks
Do you think you can do a video where you can use paint brushes instead of the paint spray, I’m trying to do the same thing and I need a video like that

Could you just mix black/brown acrylic paint with liquid latex and paint the cracks? I just wanna touch mine up and mess with the hair but don’t wanna completely repaint it and do the wash cuz I’ve never done it and don’t wanna mess my mask up

Maybe if you started interacting with your viewers and answering their questions they’d be more willing to sub 🤷🏼♂️. It’s not like your comment section is BOOMING like cosplay Chris or someone like that. That’s why I’ve, personally, not subbed. That and the whole “my camera died” thing seems like an “I don’t want to show ALL of my methods” thing. Same thing happened in the 2018 video and I could be totally wrong but it seems extremely disingenuous. Looking forward to buying Nick’s Ends turorial. Also, good luck with finding reference for the next video. The entirety of that mask was kept so damn hidden it was crazy. I was so excited to see what it looked like as a whole but nope. With my job demanding as it is, I'm unfortunately unable to work on this channel much except for on the weekends. When I do the black washing effect and I try to remove it slowly I end up removing also the white coat. Any ideas to only remove the black coat washing? thanks!
For me personally the mask is a bit big. But I'm able to easily fix that by simply wearing a beanie under my mask. It doesn't make the make look any different and it helps with any slack inside the mask I need to fill in. You can also use sticky pad type things inside your mask but I'd say give the beanie trick a go before doing all that extra stuff
For this video, I used a cheap set of airbrush paints called ARTME and mixed them with some cheap liquid latex and water. It's a bit of a science to get the consistency just right to spray but also to have coverage. If you can spend the money, I'd HIGHLY recommend getting some good airbrush liquid latex paints that are out there.
You can lightly brush it out with a wide tooth comb and then add lots of hairspray with a strong hold style it as you go and add more hairspray until you are happy with the result.
Is the ends mask so small just like the 2018 and kills mask??? I hope they make the mask bigger for normal heads and not for child heads. No one of these i can wear.
