I’ve competed in kickboxing and TKD since I was 6 and been to many of the same tournaments as Michael Page. He’s a phenomenal athlete and fighter but I struggle to watch this. His opponent isn’t anywhere near his level and going out his way to embarrass a fighter so many levels below him his just belittling and not in the spirit of the sport. He could beat this guy without bullying him and be more respectful.
I don't understand some of you people, When you are in a fight and you feel confident you can relax a little and enjoy yourself, you don't have to be totally focused if you don't feel you need to be, it's his fight he can act how he wants, if it helps him then so what?
Holy shit, only he can beat Jon Jones. When is MVP coming to UFC? I had no idea Page was that good in Tae Kwon Do. I thought when he was showing off at Bellator, he was just goofing off, but what offensive and defensive striking skillz that boy has! He needs to come to UFC right away and fight Jon Jones fast! Forget Israel Adensayuna vs. Jones. Make it Michael Venom Page vs. Jon dead bones Jones. (Just my opinion)

Here's a thought: maybe if you can beat your opponent while doing the robot, it's time to move to a higher level of competition. And why does no one seem to understand the rules? This is an odd sport.

This is LIGHT CONTACT Kickboxing, same rules as full contact such as kicks only allowed from the upper body to the head, but intentional excessive force is forbidden.

This is an embarrassment to the WAKO British Championship team...look at the level of Chloe Bruce and then look at the guy in the black...the guy is sooooo NOT the anywhere close to the right level of competition it is ridiculous!
I love this guy. I use to fight in Karate tournaments in the 80,s and 90,s. This is by far the most brutal fighting in the world. These fighters are levals above some of the fighters in the UFC
You are the only one that thinks so, it's exactly why most people like him because he makes fights interesting and uses the showboat to get into his opponents head rent free, it's a tactic part of the game.
@@Juuk-D I don't believe I am the only one that thinks MVP showboats too much. However, he definitely has skills but if you put him against a formidable muay thai fighter, he will have problems.
@@loganriki2625 He has fought kick boxers, boxers, wrestlers, point karate. He is UK karate champion, i think he has good chances. And he said in a interview he showboats to get in their head, fighting is not only physical it's also mental, he makes the sport interesting

I can appreciate MVP's skill but I don't have to appreciate his antics. I know who he is. I watched him before he transitioned into MMA. His greatest threat will be from muay thai fighters. They will give him a lot of trouble in the ring.
