Perfect example of how the com link had voice recognition. When he yells “KITT!”… he’s not pressing any buttons on the watch.

@andrewps84 I know, but I'm not talking about only the footage, but other things that happen. In this episode, Michael Knight was weak because he'd been poisoned. In the pilot, he was shot. An episode called The Nineteenth Hole from season 3 rips off an episode from season 1. Not by stock footage, but what was actually done.

@@grumpygremlin2379 I can’t deny the use of the plot line, so it was a bit of a stretch. I’m sure as tv series age they start to run out of ideas and dare I say, budgets. It’s hard for me to speculate on that any further. I know one reason Knight Rider was cancelled was because it was getting costly to continue producing.

@andrewps84 Seeing episodes of Knight Rider that copied other episodes didn't make the show any less interesting. But sometimes it's fun to point these things out. In Custom Made Killer, the driver of the killer car attacks Michael and hits a stunt double that any fool could tell isn't David Hasselhoff, lol. Unfortunately, Knight Rider is far from the only series that met its end due to production. Mainly I hate the way it ended. Voodoo Knight is considered by many people, myself included, to be the worst episode in the entire series. I wouldn't be surprised if David Hasselhoff himself hated it.

@@grumpygremlin2379 I’ve often heard that Scent of the Roses should have been the finale. Because I agree, “Voodoo Knight” was terrible and a bad way to end the series.

This is back in the 1980s. They probably didn't think it would be this popular back in your neck of the woods, nor have they foreseen the exposure that the internet would have for Knight Rider today.
