Russ is not a high percentage shooter. I will give you that. However, if you've been watching the Thunder this year, Russ has been deferring more and the Thunder are a better team partly due to his modified play style. Last night was different cause nobody could buy a basket until PG13 got hot...and it's Russ' team and when that happens he has to try to get it going. #1 Defense, #1 steals, #1 offensive rebounds - you have to get the "W" how you can get it.

This Thunder team is different, Colin is going to eat crow on this one.

Is colin aware that no player in the league creates more wide open or open shots than Westbrook? His team misses at an astonishing rate, below any predictable simulation or metric. He thinks russ is getting his first. No. Hes an equal opportunity employer. But when guys miss regularly he starts calling his own number. Another huge knock is his inefficient shooting. He takes too many threes and he cannot hit them consistently in games. This is accurate. But he gets a terrible whistle for how aggressive he is. Guys who go to the rack like him get way more fouls called. Additionally, they won that game because he was a willing passer and created multiple rebounding opportunities by going over all the bigs to get tips or recoveries. This dude is now somehow underrated. It's astonishing. Colin only talks about hot takes that get him views. He will never be unbiased and accept when a player is improving or changing.
