The phobia of being unarmed? Inability to self-defense? Blue hair phobia? Nose ring phobia? Rainbow phobia? Censorship phobia? Bookphobia? Sexphobia? Typical Christians, especially Catholics. The Catholic Church has always been afraid of sexuality. Even married couples had to turn off the lights in the bedroom. Conservatives are so uptight; it's unbearable. 😉

As a fat person, I hate the body positivity movement. I hate being fat, and I hate struggling with my gluttonous behavior. I also don't see all the "hate" they talk about in society. All of the shame I feel as a fat person is internalized hatred and shaming from my fat family that raised me from childhood to be fat and gluttonous. The truth is that fat people make fat people. It's just like the cycle of disordered behavior that comes from an alcoholic father or a whorish mother.

I agree, I was close to 350lbs just 2 years ago it was my biggest fear. That fear "fat phobia" was my drive. It helped me hate my poor choices, pushing me to educate myself about nutritional health as well as being able to make better choices about how much and what to eat. I set small achievable weight loss goals, I currently weigh 259lbs and am working to get down to 250. For me it has been a slow process because I live a very sedentary life, but I have lost those 90 some odd lbs just by eating less and staying away from the junk.

Why would I pay to see a so-called "GO-GO Dancer"? I use the word dancing very generously. It would be shoveling. I f I want to see a fat person trying & failing to dance, I only have to look in the mirror & it's free. Just like actors want attention, they are willing to remember some lines in order to exchange attention. Moddels are welling to keep in shape in exchange for attention that's fair however when you do not do nothing to take care of yourself as well as not think about how much food you stuff your face with " Eat to Live dont Live to Eat" and you scream at people " how dare you not looking at me". That person calling herself " Supermodel" does she use the word super because of her size?!?!?!?. Like I said, if I want to look at a fat person, I have to only look in the mirror. Apparently, she is super in size, not brain. She should not breed.

Darling, the fact that people don't want to touch your underwear has nothing to do with some kind of imaginary "phobia" and you know that. Most people-sorry if that offends you, but it's just true-feel repulsed by morbidly overweight bodies. I wouldn't approach you on the bus to tell you what you know anyway, namely that obesity isn't attractive. Without exception. It simply isn't and nothing can change that. Not even being the nicest person on Earth. Don't tell me that you like what you see in the mirror. Whether they admit it or not, no one really wants to look like that and no one feels comfortable with having to carry an extra 150+ pounds of fat around.

And even then, it’s not something that should be accepted. There are a lot of people who claim they only want to make the world more accepting or tolerable of fat people, but that’s not a good thing either. We should never reach a point as a society where we can look at millions of others throwing away their lives in selfish pursuits and just be okay with that. No, we shouldn’t be cruel, but _never_ should a destructive lifestyle be considered acceptable by society at large. For example, some decades ago we chose to be more accepting and tolerable of divorce-even no fault divorce-and look where we are now. Divorce is rampant, shattered families are normal, and more generations of kids are being raised in broken homes, but thinking that there’s nothing wrong with that because it’s so common, and thus never dealing with the trauma. Never, ever accept unhealthy choices, because that allows others to promote unhealthy choices.

You're just a nasty person then. How fat does that person have to be for you to react in such a ridiculous way? Morbidly obese or just bigger than you? People like you are the reason à lot of people hide away when their body weight goes up, which leads to more eating etc. Not every overweight person is a glutton. I say this à person who was normal weight (even after bearing 9 children!) only to hit menopause and, without changing diet, started gaining weight year by year. And no I don't drink soda, alcohol, fast foods, binge on chocolate etc. I stick to mostly low carb and yet the weight doesn't shift. I'm not mordibly obese just 15 or so kg heavier than I used to be, but, I hate it, yet it is what it is. But nasty people, like some of the people commenting on this clip, are what reinforces to me the belief that people reject you because you're a little overweight, and in some, fuel depression and negative behaviour. I feel compassion on them, because I know in a small way what its like. We all have our demons we need to battle - some are just more obvious, less socially acceptable, to the world than others. Shame on you all.

Here’s the thing- yes, there are people who can eat whatever they want. But none of us gained weight from one pbj or one cupcake. It’s over time by exceeding the calories we burn consistently. Even those thin people that seem to eat whatever are eating less of it than we would eat of it.

Being even a little overweight is physically uncomfortable for me so I have always done my best to be the right, healthy weight for my body. I am nearly 75, a white female and cannot understand people who just give up on their health. I understand it can be so hard for people who are predisposed to carry more weight than is healthy for them but giving up just ends in an uncomfortable and unhealthy life.

My opinion as a formerly obese sugar and carb addict who sought help and hasn’t had a single bite of sugar/alternative or processed carb in over 14 months and is no longer obese- The majority of obese people have an addiction to sugar and carbs and their desperate attempts to get people to accept them is like a drug addict trying to get people to accept their crappy lifestyle. They don’t want to accept they have to change or die. The problem is never them and it’s always the people around them. All addicts have nasty attitudes.

Yep just like its a choice to eat healthy or bereligious or any other healthy good choice. People act like they were magically handed healthy bodies or muscles or values that kept protected them from making mistakes and indulging in sloth and gluttony and lust or any other sin No its a choice and blaming people who made the right one when they made the wrong one KNOWINGLY doesnt make them martyrs it makes them foolish.

"Usually there is a silver lining" In this case, the lining was a beard
@Kaemea
@Kaemea 9 месяцев назад
Sadly, though she's really doing this to herself as well, that beard is a sign that she has PCOS. (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) Symptoms include: an apple shaped body, rapid weight gain, an inability to lose weight without extreme dieting, insulin resistance, and growing hair in places a gal shouldn't be growing it. I went through PCOS for over a decade. I struggled to lose weight even though I was on WWers, I tried Jenny Craig and veganism, nothing helped. Then I had to have an emergency hysterectomy because I bled out in the ER. My weight on my 36th birthday (the day I was dx'd with cancer after my hysterectomy) I weighed 325 lbs. I was 5'2". (I've lost an inch) almost immediately after I was done with treatment, I started to lose weight on my own. It's been 18 years but I was weighed this past week and I'm down to 224 lbs. But if you saw me? You'd ridicule me for being a fat girl with unhealthy habits who refuses to lose weight. I'm damn proud of that 100 lbs and I can not wait to get to "Onederland". When people who don't know me stare or say something snide about my appearance (a guy once loudly exclaimed to a waitress "give me a different table, I don't want to watch that fat cow shovel food down her gullet" Nice, huh?) I look them in the eyes and reply, "Thank you. I hope you have a great day." and I go on with my life. Just remember, my friend, you don't know anyone's back story. Try to give folks the benefit of the doubt. 😊

@@Kaemea what a wonderfully positive comment my friend, thank you for sharing. In the case of the woman with the neck beard, however, I believe it’s totally fair to say she’s probably not doing as much as you have done to make yourself healthy, considering she’s picked up the excuse of fat positivity. Excess hair growth and being obese don’t necessarily equate to PCOS, as certain ethnicities naturally have more hair growth than others, and her weight could just be her horrible lifestyle.

As someone who has a higher bone density (confirmed by physicians) it usually means you weigh heavier but you don’t necessarily LOOK heavier. And it’s a matter of around 5-10 lbs not like 50 lbs… same as extreme athletes with a lot of muscle. They weigh heavy but they aren’t fat. Hate when people use “big boned” as an excuse.
@DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro
@DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro 9 месяцев назад
Yes, “big boned” is a thing, but it’s really just bone structure, and never makes the big boned person look disproportionate. Curvy women with pronounced hourglasses (the true plus size models) have thicker bones than the skinny heroin-chic models of the 90’s, it’s not just metabolism. Those curvy women could never get themselves to look like the heroin-chic models. Thigh gaps and hip dips are also bone structure. But denser, thicker bones never make one look overweight, because the rest of the body is naturally in proportion to the skeletal structure it sits upon. That is one ridiculous myth.

Fat is gross and disgusting, it’s def as close as I get to being “phobic” about anything. But it’s for MYSELF. I’d be terrified of normalizing that level of pathology on my body. But on other people? No, I’m just disgusted by the outward form of their mental illness.

The last girl i actually felt for. She was speaking truth and not trying to glorify herself
@DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro
@DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro 9 месяцев назад
She really wasn’t speaking truth, she was voicing her feelings about the world separate from objective truth. She made it seem as if it isn’t a choice she’s made to be the size she is, that because of that, the entire world is out to get her. Not only is that last statement untrue-about half the adult population in places like the US and UK are overweight, so the general populace is at least desensitized, if not sympathetic-but it’s blown out of proportion due to her feelings. She thinks the world is exceptionally crueler to her than it is, because she’s insecure about the choices she’s made that have led to her being so unhealthy. Instead of confronting those feelings and changing her choices, however, she (consciously or subconsciously) seeks to justify those choices by telling herself she’s a victim. It’s her choices that have led to her being fat, so for her to not only continue with those choices to maintain, but also to promote her kind of lifestyle as sympathetic says all we need to know about her pathetic mindset.

There is no such thing as fatphobia. There is beautiful and there is ugly. Fat is and will always be on the ugly side because in general beauty is associated with good health. I say it and I'm slightly overweight. I know I'd have to be more muscular and thinner to be considered more beautiful and I have no problem with that statement.

I will say that losing weight is really hard, but you shouldnt make people accept your terrible life choices, just like how people should be happy with the sex they were born and not go cutting off your genitals just because CNN said you should. I am working to lose weight, I am down 40 lbs since I started, but I still have 70 to go to hit my goal. I wanna be happy and have kids one day and losing weight is the number 1 best thing I can do to accomplish that.

Unless it's some kind of rare condition... trust me, go and get in shape. Not for anyone, but for yourself. You will feel hundred times better and happier. I was 135kg, lost 30kg and currently I'm a bit stuck around 105-110. I'm also practicing IF. Not eating all the time and being a bit hungry is not the end of the world. It actually makes you even more happy. Let's face it - most people simply over consume nowadays and current food is extremely caloric, plus full of sugar, aka the white death. Quit the sugar. I mean it. It is killing you. Quite literally.
