Fun fact: Seth McFarland was actually friends with Rush Limbaugh, thus how he was able to get him to voice himself on the show.

McFarlane is very Liberal, but he will call out his own side from time to time, and it helps that Limbaugh was willing to laugh at himself.

One episode I remember is when Chris locked up a criminal and put him and jail. The criminal escapes and in an interview he said he would kill Chris so they move to the Deep South and when the criminal finds out where they are he goes there to kill him only to be shot by the people there thus saving Chris’ life. You wouldn’t see that in a show today.

I would choose Family Guy over modern Simpsons which really has lost itself to the woke mind virus and has become a parody of its former self for a long time now I don't know why Matt Groening doesn't just pull the plug on it before it destroys whatever legacy it ever had by continuing on

MacFarlane is super liberal but weirdly based on the trans issue. You can see it in most of his shows, notably a recurring subplot on The Orville.

For a Connecticut crazy lefty he did something REALLY COOL for Andy BREITBART before we lost him. Breitbart and Seth were in a green room chatting and I think Andy's son was sick at the time and he mentioned that his son loved Family Guy and Seth told Andrew Breitbart to call up his son. So Andy called him up and Seth took the phone and began talking to Andy's son as Brian, Stewie, Peter, etc for almost 15 min so Andy said privately that short of bombing a children's hospital Seth MacFarlane got a Lifetime pass from Breitbart. It's terrible, A Lifetime wouldn't be that long.

The current season of Family Guy has been terrible. However, I love the show. There are some episodes that have been a complete miss in my opinion. Any time they attack Christianity I am out. But other than that I am a fan.

Seth Mc Farlan was actually very based when he was writing the show. Calling out insanity on both sides equally. American Dad was also a great show for turning the brain off and having some simple laughs.

The thing people don't understand about Seth is that although he's very liberal he's also very open-minded and has common sense. And I think he's more of a classical liberal. He's not someone who's going to try to shut down discourse between opposing sides. He very much supports it even if he doesn't agree with it. And he obviously is a huge supporter of free speech. And comedy obviously has no bounds. But when you look at his Sci-Fi show the Orville they tackle a lot of different issues and he is the main writer of that show. It started off being pretty much a 50/50 mix between comedy and sci-fi drama and as the seasons went on it got more and more serious. And he does use it to point out some societal issues as Star Trek did. And some would lean more left like there is an episode that does tackle abortion in a sense and obviously he's pro- choice. then you have a storyline that starts from very early one of the First episodes of the series where there is a species that only consists of males we are told but then a female is born and then we find out that they are very rare and are born play once every hundred years or something like that. And on their home planet it's customary to do a sex change on the infant so that's what the parents want to do but Seth MacFarlane's character is the captain of the ship where the child was born and he refuses because it's a baby and he tells them they should wait until the child is old enough to decide for themselves eventually it becomes a tribunal court case type thing. But it's a storyline that carries on throughout the whole series. So he's definitely against children making that decision because they can't consent

I don’t watch this series but saying that the person who wrote it is that Seth dude, when so many of the episodes are so controversial, it makes me question a lot. Remember the old school saying or was it a Bible verse, out of the abundance of your heart, the mouth speaks or something like that? I got Family Guy banned from the house when I was 14. My younger brother (who was 10 at the time) loved the show. Our parents thought that because it was a cartoon, it was okay for us to watch. One day, we were going home from the pool and my brother shouted “Tittie twister!” and grabbed my breast, trying to twist it! I screamed, slapped him so hard that it left a mark and told our mom (who was driving) what he did. When we got home, our parents asked my brother why the hell he thought that was a good idea. He told them he had seen it on an episode of Family Guy and thought it was funny. After getting a stern lecture on why what he did was bad, my brother was banned from watching Family Guy. I hated the show and my parents did too after they learned what it was really about. So nobody in our family watched it. A few years ago, my brother randomly texted me out of the blue and said “Thank you for getting Family Guy banned from our house.” I asked him what he was talking about. He said he was channel surfing and happened upon the show. He decided to watch it and was surprised at how not funny it was.

Seth was a lot more intelligent in the past and has gotten DUMBER as time went on. It seems some echo chambers are more damaging than one could imagine. THANK HEAVENS he "gave up" control of American dad years ago. That shows gotten better over time because seths had LESS AND LESS involvement.

I've always hated Family Guy. Even the older episodes. It just... annoys me lol the delivery, the repetitiveness of it all, I just hate it. It rarely gets a laugh out of me. South Park on the other hand, I love. It's lowbrow and offensive but not stupid. I feel like there's a certain class and understanding to South Park that Family Guy just never had.

Ida is actually a pretty likable character. Polite, friendly, and understands why the transitioning thing is hard on those around him and takes it with a pinch of salt. Cares for his son deeply.

Like on the show Ted and the niece, who is an annoying lib, in one episode they have Ted act like a therapist and he writes down that she is a narcissist. Not that she had a point or was right, just that, so everyone gets made fun of. I could be blind or not see that Seth is woke, I'm just saying the vibe I got.

I love Family guy and American dad! They show everything thats wrong in humanity and society in general. In spite of McFarlane's left leen,both shows have no mercy when it comes to hittiing hard in either direction,left or right. Specially Roger (American dad) he is literaly EVERITHING WRONG in ,not only American society,but worldwide nowdays. They're my disconection from the daily routine of work,home and daily problems.. I'm 42, self employed tilapia breeder ,I work 9/10hr days 7 days a week. From Argentina,voted for Milei, But had the pleasure of living 10 years(87 thru 97) in Miami. Some of the best years of my life.That's why it hurts to see what the USA has become,something veeery faaar from my childhood memories.

Seth McFarlane is a deeply closeted conservative

You should watch and react to The Orville, specifically "About a Girl" (trans issue - more serious than you'd expect) and "Majority Rule" (cancel culture)! A lot of plots in the show lean surprisingly right, or at least not politically correct. They deal a lot with moral relativism vs. absolute truth. Even the lead characters are a divorced couple who keep gravitating back to each other, which is abnormal in today's TV.

Your team should of added the NRA clip. "Guns don't kill people, dangerous minorities do!" It's an older episode and it's hilarious.
