No one will ever forget what Michelle Obama did to school lunch. When they took away fried chicken day, I died inside. I hear they brought it back but it’s not the same.
Tbh it’s a pretty reasonable cause to stop all the kids being so fat. Issue is though that school lunches have very limited impact. Most fat kids are fat cos they eat a load of snacks and constant fast food out of school

I grew up in a very strict, religious household. Harry Potter, South Park, and videogames weren't allowed. My family is still VERY religious, but now I'm covered in tattoos (my mom has one with all her kids names), I watch South Park (my mom doesn't, but I send her clips), and we have open conversations about secularism versus religious living, morality, etc. A common phrase I use is "who decided cuss words are cuss words?" I'm insanely impressed by how open-minded my family is, while absolutely sticking to their values and not wavering. It's necessary for society to function.

@@StAlphonsusHasAPosse I well aware of what Catholics believe, the Simpson episodes are catered directly at Catholics specifically because there's Nuns in them and private confession, which removes Protestant Christians from the conversation mostly.
If they are dependent on a brand/public perception it is no different than supply and demand in a marketplace. The same thing that builds you up can take you down.
They have removed 3 episodes dealing with muhammud Super best friends and two others. They also retconned token blacks name to tolken black in all the subtitles. They got everything but one episode where token is shooting a film and actually lists his name on the title.
i graduated in 2012, we still had pizza for lunch. in fact we had 2 lines 1 for a hamburger or pizza which was every day, and the other line was always 2 different plates. my favorite has to be the po boy sandwiches. god man they just made them right.

I'm convinced Matt and Trey didn't expect Trump to win or else they would've made him his own character rather than hijacking Mr Garrison. The problem with the satire there is you have to know Garrison to really get the jokes since they barely applied to Trump at all, even at the time let alone in retrospect.
I didn't vote for Trump the first time, as I couldn't bring myself to vote for a "republican." I was also convinced that when Hildawg was announced as "our" candidate, that it was already a done deal, that it was rigged.....and I think it was. It just wasn't rigged hard enough because they underestimated how much people hate that lady. So, anyway, Trump gets in and immediately starts roasting people and putting boots to the media, publicly, and I was in after that. I got his whole persona right away, and to this day I don't understand how he broke so many people's brains. That guy completely pulled the veil away from the political system, was actually a pretty good CiC AND was hilarious. TDS is absolutely real, I've never seen anything like it in my life...I watched people's brains melt in real-time all around me, people who I'm technically on "their side." Man. It must suck to suck.
For some reason South Park has gone hard as f**k on Trump, but hasn't touched Biden even though there's SOOO much material there. Also, same thing for Obama. They _pretended_ to go after him but at the same time made him look cool by satirizing the casino movies. They just made him look like a master thief and didn't even really make fun of him. They just made him look cool in a way. It's pretty hypocritical, especially after they said they wouldn't go after Trump because of something to the effect of "It's too easy". They go easy on Democratic presidents and went hard as f**k on Trump. And they claim to be Republican... Yeah, sure.
You can tell they respected Ron Paul. In one episode, during the republican debate, they portraid Ron Paul as he really is - answering questions directly while everyone else changes the topic.

Since I'm so early I thought I'd comment.. off topic... I'm 38 and have end stage CKD. I didn't even know untill it had progressed. Pretty easy test at your doctor can tell you a lot. If you haven't had a health check in a bit, get one done. God Bless all of you. Trump 2024!

6:20 you joke about it but before I ever followed politics. As a young person 15-17. The whole lunch thing was huge. Our portions got cut. Our school lost its salad bar. You couldn’t order “doubles” or extra lunch anymore. The quality of the food became bland because everything had to be wheat based. It was a terrible time. I wasn’t lucky enough to be able to bag lunch. So had no choice but to have whatever was served.
I tried to order Woke Tears Water and unfortunately it’s not available to be delivered to my area… maybe it’s because I live in a town with a hundred people I don’t know. Anyone else have this problem?
