Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, & Goblet of Fire I always consider the most easily rewatchable/my most re-visited of the original big 7. As it stands, Where to Find Them is the best FB film.
@@christianhackl474 I think Goblet, Order, and Half-Blood are easily the most rewatchable but I’ve seen all the movies like the same amount cause I just can’t watch a random movie in the series if I’m gonna watch Harry Potter I always watch 1-8. I’ve only seen the first FB movie and it was fine. I did not see the other two because I heard the second was really bad.
@@AidenLiquid Half Blood is my 2nd favorite after Goblet. I know there is a lot less action in it but it feels like the darkest one and I like seeing them all deal with teen love and Harry trying to get Slughorn to reveal his shameful secret. The scene where Dumbledore has to keep drinking the liquid in the cave is really intense and awesome. Order is just fast paced and action packed and Umbridge is a great villain and the fight at the end is awesome.
@Seth Torres Personal I think 1-7 are all good. I see them all together as one series of films based on one series of books in which the story carries on from one book to the next so the films do the same
@Seth Torres Personal no shit, I mean I see them all as ONE. I don't judge them individually. To me they are ONE long 16 hour movie. One story with a beginning and an end. So I like them all equally.
I like how everything up to Deathly Hallows part 2 ranges from mediocre to fantastic and after that it just goes downhill. It's a natural thing to happen for a franchise when they could've left the story on a fantastic note, but then they decide "that's not enough money for us"
1st Fantastic Beasts is a great standalone spinoff story and they should have left it alone. It shouldn’t have gotten one sequel let alone the five they have planned.
@Thawne Just cause it's popular doesn't mean it should be the best for everyone. You're acting like this is some TikTok trend. People use this meme to express their opinion, and it really pains me to say this to Gen Z (coming from a Gen Z person) "Kids, you may need to go back to school to learn about the definition of an opinion and how there is no such thing as a right or wrong opinion." I shouldn't have to say that, but I do cause of our fucked up society
First 3 films of Harry Potter I would rewatch over and over again they are that bloody great same goes to order of the phoniex that is just as strong as the first 3 films
*Harry Potter* Philosopher's Stone - Great Chamber of Secrets - Good Prisoner of Azkaban - Great Goblet of Fire - Okay Order of the Pheonix - Great Half-Blood Prince - Bad Deathly Hallows (Part 1) - Good Deathly Hallows (Part 2) - Great *Fantastic Beasts* And Where to Find Them - Mediocre The Crimes of Grindelwald - Awful The Secrets of Dumbledore - Yet to Watch
@@TheShanicpower Supposedly there was gonna be five Fantastic Beasts movies in total, but since the third one apparently didn’t do so well, I don’t know if they’re gonna make the last two
I agree, because I've felt like every movie after Prisoner Of Azkaban and Goblet Of Fire feels way too similar to each other. Especially how desaturated all the colors are from Goblet Of Fire onwards.
POA is the best and most stylish HP movie, I used to conside GOF the worst, but I always liked certain things about it, it just is not really close to POA's level, and it stands out when you watch them back to back, but I think HBP is probably the worst/least necessary of the films. there's no real villain in that movie I think is one of the main issues, I guess there's Bellatrix and Greyback but they're not main villains, and overall just not that much happens in it apart from Dumbledore's death and some exposition about horcruxes. DHP1 is probably better in my opinion, I don't know why everyone seems to hate on it so much. I suppose the same things I criticise HBP for you could say about DHP1, but to a lesser extent.

The more I rewatch goblet of fire as an adult(read the books around middle school, this was my favorite hp movie when I was a kid), the more it pisses me off and i hate it. I'll still watch it, but I fucking hate how far from the book goblet of fire is. I listen to the audiobooks constantly, so it's not like I'm remembering the books wrong, the 4th movie is the least book accurate one and not in a good way either. While order of the Phoenix is pretty inaccurate too, it makes sense considering the 5th book has like 10 more chapters than the rest and a lot of said book is kind of a slug to reread/relisten to Edit: forgot to mention in an interview, Mike newell, the director for goblet of fire, never read the book because, "look at how big and bulky this is". He literally wanted to burn down the forbidden forest until his daughter was like, "what the fuck, no. That never happens"
@@tarkus1056 it's not super accurate but not as inaccurate as people make it out to be. Makes maybe half the changes goblet of fire does. It's biggest flaw is cutting out a lot of important chapters. A common criticism I hear of the movie is it focuses too much on the romance, but it's like those people haven't even read HBP book, it's also very romance heavy, especially in the middle to last half
First let me say that my favorite books/movies are 1 through 5 and I also like the first FB movie. Second, I had to look up to see who Michael Rosen is, and to be honest I still don't really know.
@@brianorozco1074 I've seen small glimpses of them as my family and friends enjoy them a lot but they don't look that interesting to me and I gotta be honest the reaction I get when I tell people I've never watched them is better than any movie ever
They really did the fantastic beasts movies dirty. Like the first one was good and I love but wasn't anything special, second one was sort of watchable but not good and the third I don't even want to know.
On my latest rewatch I feared Deathly hollows part 1 would be so boring and was excited for part 2. However when I actually reached part 1 I quite enjoyed the slower pacing and more nuanced tone, and part 2 felt mediocre in it's final act and lackluster unsatisfying ending.
All of the Harry Potter movies are amazing (even though 4 and 6 are the weaker ones compared to the book, they will always be in my favorite movies of all time list). While not as great as the originals, Fantastic Beasts movies are good, fun and entertaining.
The series started to fall off after the third movie imo. I personally feel the series started to take itself a tad too seriously. Those first three movies are awesome and really play with the wonderful, child-like ideas of what a school for wizards would be like. I can't help but feel like the more lighthearted and comedic moments of the earlier movies just would not fit at all in the later ones.
@@jakub_paints6775 It's mean-spirited. And I'm not just referring to how Umbitch treated the students, I'm also referring to how everyone turned against Harry and Dumbledore. Don't get me wrong, I can understand why the Ministry of Magic turns against them because they don't want to believe that Voldemort is back, and decide to pin the blame on everything they transpired on Harry, Dumbledore and Sirius... mostly because Cornelius Fudge is an idiot. But was there any reason why everyone else turned against Harry? Considering that most of the students in Hogwarts knew Harry for about 5 years, and the fact that it's been shown that Harry has saved others countless times, it doesn't make any sense that they would turn on Harry just because the Ministry is saying that Harry's lying. And on top of that, there were several moments that really angered me. The very opening had Dudley making fun of Harry, mocking him and his dead mother. Yes, Dudley is an ass, and it's only natural that he would make fun of his cousin. But at the same time, there is a BIG difference between making fun of someone, bullying someone, and just plain being an asshole. And Dudley had crossed that line by triggering Harry's PTSD. Not only that, but when Harry and Dudley were attacked by two dementors, and Harry saved his cousins, what was Harry's reward, he nearly gets expelled. And when he had to go to court to testify his actions to why he performed underaged magic, Fudge was doing everything he could to not hear Harry's side of the story and almost went straight to the end of the trial. And not only that, but I thought the movie was rather dull. Not much happens in the movie other than watching Umbitch taking over the school and both tormenting and torturing the students. The only things I can remember that I actually liked were Fred and George finally giving what Umbitch deserved and the fight between Dumbledore and Voldemort. And then there were several plotpoints and inconsistencies that are not addressed. For example, do you know who sent the dementors to attack Harry? Unless if you read the book, or someone told you, you'd probably never guess that it was Umbitch. The relationship between Harry and Cho; it happened, but then they broke up offscreen. The fact that Harry can see these horse creatures, I think they were called Thestrals, of which they can only be seen by those who've seen death, despite the fact that he should've seen them as early as his 1st year in Hogwarts, (He did witness his parents' murder, and he even killed Professor Quirrell,) and how Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Neville are able to ride them despite them never seeing death at that point in their lives... and I could go on. And then there's a tiny fact that I noticed with the Harry Potter series in general. Nearly everytime I see a TV station go a Harry Potter Marathon, they almost always skip Order of the Phoenix and go straight towards the Half-Blood Prince.
1-3 were good, 4-6 skipped way too much of content to be good and 7 was alright- partly but only if you don’t mention the stuff they fucked up! I.E. the elderwand, Tom’s death, Lily’s eyes and Harry being Teddy’s godfather to mention few. The first fantastic beasts was good though.
@@cuppajoe2022 the first one is just magical Doctor Who. A zany outlier with a British accent travels with a box that’s bigger on the inside alongside his human/muggle companion confronting monsters
The Goblet of Fire sucks They were showing the movies in theatres again in 2020 and I went to see Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire I fell asleep watching Goblet of Fire and realized just how boring it was
