Of the People Morena has worked with, Jewel Straite's career has been surprisingly low key since Stargate, gorgeous and a great actress she was totally adorable in Firefly and definitely should have got more roles especially in other sci-fi roles

Summer Glau seemed to be going places, as well, but kind of retired to avoid raising a kid in Hollywood or whatever, which...probably a sensible thing to do. Not saying nobody should raise a kid in Hollywood, but there are understandable reasons not to want to do that.

from the days of firefly I thought Morena would be bigger than she is, she should be a bigger star. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and she's a great actor.

Great question! A bit off-topic, but I always thought Kyle Chandler would hit it big in the '90s. Always imagined him being great as Peter Parker / Spider-man.

Honestly, I always thought Michael Rosenbaum would be a bigger star. Not that any of the other actors weren't insanely talented, I just thought once Michael got into some more gigs and stretched his acting wings, showed the world that he did, in fact, have hair, I thought he'd be the next Bond villain or guns blazing anti-hero or something. He's got Bruce willis vibes. He could play that neighbor next door who's retired military with a "particular set of skills" who saves the town from gangbaners or something. LOL I was super bummed when he didn't break out further because of all the incredible talent on Smallville I always thought Rosenbaum had the most. No offense to anyone else. I love 'em all! But Rosi was the BAUM!

Don't forget luck. To be really big, you need looks, talent, and a lot of luck. There are plenty of actors who had the first two and just never got the right projects.

There's definitely was a CW/WB looks back in the day. It kinda became a running joke because a lot of those people couldn't act, at least not yet. Ten or fifteen years of acting experience after WB folded changed a lot of actors in my opinion.

Come on, saying you thought someone "should" have been a start but didn't is basically saying you think the person failed. A better question might be "Who did you work with early on that we might not know went on to stardom?"

Yeah, Michael was on a WB show, so he was beautiful compared to regular folks. But he was the villain on the WB show, so he had to be slightly less beautiful than the heroes.

I feel bad for actors who get cast for what could be their big break and then get cut from the pilot or swapped early on. Like I just recently learned Ray Romano was in the news show with Andy Dick and he was cut after the pilot and Joe Rogan replaced him. Now obviously this worked out in his favor as half a year later he got his own show. But it could just as easily not happen. I know the guy who played Jimmy Olsen from the first season of Lois and Clark legit got fired cause he looked too much like Dean Cain. Imagine having your biggest role yet and they fire you for basically looking too much like some other dude.

She's the one who should have had a career along the lines of Cameron Diaz and Charlize Theron. She would have been great in the Fast and Furious movies.
