I went to Michael's to buy two skeins of white yarn. I REPEAT - TWO SKEINS OF WHITE YARN. This is what I ended up coming home with. Whoops.

That would be cool if he hung them from his cap! The Carson latte cakes are so nice. Please wear the little earrings when working but not the big ones. When making a video wear the other bigger ones on your Pride hat. Andrew you are too funny!!!

I think a crochet cocoon would be nice out of that yarn. I have one and use it a lot in the morning to sit on the porch with my coffee. Chases the morning chill away. You might consider turning the disco ball earrings into stitch markers- might get more use out of them that way.

Very enjoyable video. You are just so good at being comical! I love how you buy so much accidentally on purpose. The disco ball pride earrings are so crazy. Love them. I support inclusivity.and love rainbows! Those earrings may be a little to much for work... from one nurse to another.lol. Michael's can suck you in bad!

Haha as a graphic designer, rainbow is my favorite “color”. I *must* have that bowl and mug 😍 even the earrings I’d wear one weekend when I whip out the pig tails and glitter freckles. 🦄✨

I hate it when yarn jumps into my basket when I am in The yarn store😂😂😂 great yarn choices. Love your mug. I am not a fan of Dangly earrings, I would probably make the the disco balls into a necklace and wear the studs.

Ok you sold Me On the disco ball earrings. I will buy them and hang them On a plant. I made my mom a big wrap with latte cakes. They were divine to work with. I also made an amigurumi bear with it. Yes you have crossed into the yarn collecting zone. It is a fun place to be. Welcome!

I think the bowl is for your yarn x your mug is for your hooks and bits the disco balls can brighten your day x then introduce them to the lonesome disco ball in the plant corner x as for the yarn it looks beautiful x finish your white and ice blanket mine looks rather pride like with the rainbow colours x most of all have fun and enjoy every moment of your journey much love from the u.k.

Love latte cakes - too bad they have discontinued them. I made a queen-size corner-to-corner moss stitch blanket in 5 different colourways. Made a rectangle shawl for myself and a triangle shawl (in blueberry) for my aunt. It makes a very cuddly and warm fabric. The blanket is surprisingly lightweight too.

I used purple Latte cakes to make a coat for my granddaughter. I doubled it and it turned out awesome. I loved the fuzz!

The disco ball earrings go great with the cap and make the blue of your eyes pop. Very nice, but you will probably find them too heavy to wear for any length of time. If you go to the parade wearing them, I would suggest keeping the sparkly rainbows in your pocket to change into when the sparkly balls get too heavy. Nobody wants to have heavy balls dangling in their face for too long....not a member of the community but certainly an ally. Rock on, Nick and Andrew who-are-not-business-associates. I love the heart mug and the cute earrings. I love the yarn too lol. Our local pride march has been cancelled this year, the council couldn't help with the funding so they couldn't afford it. But there are different things going on around town

I did the same thing at Michael's the other day. Found several discontinued colourways of Caron cakes. I got a few Cotton Cakes that I'm currently attempting to make a summer tee out of, 2 skinny cakes for a throw for my daughter, and then I felt the Cloud Cakes, which I think feels even nicer than the Latte Cakes and got three of those for some project or another at a later date, and three more of them for my daughter to attempt something with as well. Then I noticed they had the MASSIVE Anniversary Cakes on clearance for $22 (CDN) and picked up two of those! So much yarn! ♥ Also, Happy Pride!

I just bought that yarn myself and got the red macaron. I started the Laid-Back Lace Wrap by Pretty Peaceful. It's a free pattern with a tutorial but it's all single stitch. I've never really made anything with single stitch except maybe a dishcloth when I first started crocheting. She shows the difference between blocked and unblocked and I think this is going to be gorgeous. She has a RU-vid channel and it's pretty awesome if you want to go check her out.

Ive used fuzzy yarn last year (hygge by Red Heart) and my cardigan came out so luxurious and soft (I knitted it instead of crochet). Very curious how this Caron fuzzy yarn will crochet. Knitted, it has a lot of drape and hangs a bit on the heavy side (used very basic garter stitch for the body panels and brioche stitch for puffy sleeves).

"Accidentally there was a Michael's on the way" Love it! Have you considered making any baby clothing? To keep for future use or gifting? Some of the yarns you have would make beautiful baby sweaters/layette items. I live in PA and at least once a year get to Shady Maple which is near the Weavers Market/Store in East Earl PA. They sell handmade crochet baby items made by the local ladies in the area and can not keep it in stock. It sells fast Have you even been there?

Nice haul! Those disco ball earrings looked like too much when you took them out but yknow what, wearing them with the black hat and shirt - its a look! I feel like Michaels keeps downsizing their in-store yarn and leaving their online to 3rd parties for the most part 🙄Really happy you got what you wanted from Michaels!
