That was before the FIA reintroduced the traction control. Michael was a master of throttle control. the F2001 is simply the most beautiful Ferrari ever made with the F2004
I love green energy and all that, but man I wish the electric engines made noises like these. I think the V10 will forever be the sound I hear when I think of F1
Yeah, zyres where important like hell back then. Especially when Michillin came back in 2001. Look the old races and listen to the commentators. They are almost talking as much of tyres like today.
Back in 2001 I had ear plugs on the track, to cover my ears from the sound. NOW I have mp3 earplugs on my lapotop to get the sound BACK in my ears!! Try it!! use headphone and listen to this!!! GOOSEBUMPSSSSSS
The best time of the year for me was when they held f1 at indy. A sound so intimidating and absolutely ear splitting that I will never ever forget. God I miss it.
Best time of my life.Every second sunday all family watching F1 together. And now i cant remember when i watched last time whole F1 race. Those where great days.Hold on Michael.
V10's and Murray Walkers voice will ALWAYS remind me of my childhood and the Golden yrs of F1 racing and The Wide World of Sports on Sunday afternoon....
The leap from the f2000 was massive in terms of looks and to some extent speed. The sound is even better now than bqck in the day. I miss that just as much as I miss Micheal. #KFShumi!
Miss Michael in F1 and miss the screems of the V10’s 😢 God bless you Michael thx for all the amazing years you gave us in F1, it’s not the same with out you, truly hope you get well soon ❤ ✌️
Unrestricted would be catastrophic, but all the FIA did since 1983 was trying to slow the cars down. It was ok for some times, but today it's just ridiculous...
X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X Unrestricted means that people themselves get to decide what risks they are willing to take. Restrictions are nothing more but other people getting to decide what risk you are allowed to take. It's ridiculous that someone else should get that control over you.
:D The phone I had back then as a kid ( and no, not a rich kid) wasn't bigger than that, possibly smaller, so it's probably not that small for the time. But maybe Ferrari/Schumi were after the more rugged one, not the smallest :)
I makes me sad that I most likely that in my life I will never get to hear these type of v10's in the heat of a championship battle with my own ears. But alteast we still got youtube!!!
Video editado,l sonido no cuadra con el perfil del carro y el momento en la pista, suena duro cuando frena y en plena recta hace recortes de velocidad,el editor de sonido debe ser fan de Maclaren supongo. Video edited, the sound does not match the profile of the car and the moment on the track, it sounds hard when braking and in the middle of the straight makes speed cuts, the sound editor must be a fan of Maclaren I suppose.
