This is funny because Michael Jackson was considered for the lead role in ‘Edward Scissorhands’

Wikipedia has it wrong. Michael would have loved to play Edward but it was not Michael asking for the role, it was Tim Burton who wanted Michael for the role. I know that from a very reliable source. Unfortunately that didn't come to fruition due to circumstances so Johnny was obviously second best. I've tried to correct the Wikipedia page but they don't let me. This is very well done, interesting to see what he would have looked like as Edward, a role which seemed to have been written with Michael in mind.
