I'm re watching boardwalk Empire and he is amazing in it...the dry comedy they have it the show is so funny but extremely dry it suits Micheal Shannon so much especially when you know how he is in real life haha so opposite of his boardwalk Empire character haha

@@carlhiller9659 Yeah, Jimmy goes from likable and engaging to obnoxious and fake in a matter of seconds. Shannon sorta took the wind out of his sails early on in the interview. Making Jimmy act more sober/somber for the remainder. This is what happens when you have a person who is genuine come into contact with someone who isn't always sincere.

If I ever became an actor and wanted to pattern my career after someone, it would be his. Because this guy could give zero f**ks strapped to a rats ass about celebrity status or fame, or being mentioned in the tabloids. He knows he's a good actor in his own right and he just goes out and does his job like the rest of us. I feel it I met him in person he would be a dick but I'd be okay with it.

I've watched several interviews with Michael Shannon since 1/2013 regarding all of his awards and notable roles, yet none of what I've seen ever mentions "The Iceman". He was incredible in this role based on the real life account of mob-hired hitman Richard Kuklinski. Maybe I've just missed them. Otherwise, I don't get it.🤷‍♀️🤔🙄

I first noticed him on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. He is such an amazing actor! I have seen him play several rolls since and is truly believable as the characters he play’s! 👏🏼
