As much as I remember, this is the one only episode where KITT goes Targa. So beautiful in this open configuration😍

as much as we see the recording errors, and even impossible scenes to work in real life, I don't think I'll see another series like this, which I like so much, knight rider and MacGyver let's say they were golden years

@@AndrewChapman But why the hell the hero car never had them, except in the ep pilot when Michael drives it for the very first time, and why the hell Michael never wore them? Seatbelt were a great plus in situations such as the crash against Goliath and many other situations. Even in the 80's everybody knew that the most protective body would have been totally useless if the passengers weren't wearing seatbelt

That was done at the request of Pontiac. People were coming into Pontiac dealerships thinking KITT was an actual version of the Trans Am. So many people were requesting the KITT Trans Am (which Pontiac had no way of building) that Pontiac requested the show stop referring to KITT as a Trans Am in the show. Thus the "black T-top" reference. Some people can't tell reality from fantasy.

Im sorry but i didn't really enjoy this episode......i found it a bit boring!🫤Well it was season one or two. With the naff orchestra music. 🤣🤣

Well this was the first episode produced after the pilot despite airing as the ninth episode. The FLAG semi didn't look quite so stylish to start with. Plus Stu Phillips was composer for most of these earlier Season 1 episodes along with a couple other composers before Don Peake took over. And even KITT didn't get his more recognisable LED voice modulator til midway through Season 1. So the show was obviously still finding its way through certain aspects.
