My buddy might have been at this gig. Or he met Michael around this time in Indiana and took him out to lunch, as part of his church youth group duties. He said he was a really down to earth good guy.

wow thanks for posting. I absolutely wore this CD out in the mid 90's, it spoke to me so much, just lifted my young Christian spirit.

My brother and I actually attended this gig! We got to hang out a little with Michael Sweet beforehand there in the mall. I remember him brewing a cup of tea with a huge teabag.

Michael's eponymous CD is still my favorite of his solo efforts, I wish it was on Spotify. It was a monster album, listened to it all through the summer of '94. "Ain't no safe way anymore!..." Too bad he couldn't include the original lyrics as written at the time (although that would be a heck of a song for them to bring back now and sing as "safe sex", wouldn't that cause a stir!)
