No two ways about, man threw tightest spiral in NFL history, andI with that could very possibly could throw 90 yards in air. Never seen a cleaner, snappier release in any QB. Not talking about personaln life, but on field, in his prime, he was pure dominance..
@@flxgld7096 He threw for over 3000 yards twice in his career (2010 & 2011) and got darn close to 3000 yards in 2002. Nobody's saying he was the best QB of all time. We're just saying he was exceptional in the high points of his career.
Flx Gld if you gave me the choice of picking a rookie Lamar Jackson, rookie Tom Brady, and a rookie Mike Vick(minus the personal life BS) to build a franchise around I’m picking mike Vick all day. I’d pick a trouble free Mike Vick over any other qbin history. Screw the stat books. Vick was the X factor every time he was on the field.
fam vick had the perfect combination, he was fast, and had a strong arm. the way he was able to make a 88 yard pass while maintaining a spiral and and accurate throw is incredible
He actually didn’t have real good mechanics, a little too much windup on the release, but having said that...that throw was a fucking rocket on a dime. I mean it don’t gotta be perfect form cause it got to exactly where it needed to go with a flick of the wrist.
Man, Vick had an absolute cannon. I was watching some other highlights, and the camera couldn’t even keep up with the ball. Made it look so effortless too. Insane
Complete facts sir...all the pregame shoving and yapping and the crowd with the noise so loud the cameral looks like it was shaking. Shut the entire stadium up with a rocket pass play that went about 66 yards in the air with just a whip of his arm effortless but pure magic on this play. Djax speed was frightening
Your *"ABSOLUTELY 💯"* with this statement. He displayed beautiful "mechanics" in the execution of this play. This was an impressive and refreshing moment that was on display... Especially after all he's gone through.
I always said Vick wasn’t just a running quarterback; everytime there’s a running quarterback you always get asked is he next Vick; no. And he wasn’t the best passer, but he was the most physically creative athlete I’ve ever seen. He always pushed himself to pursue out of this world creativity in all facets; it wasn’t just that he was fast; when he ran, threw, jumped, it was always different. It was like abstract art in motion,
Still the prettiest deep ball I've ever seen thrown!! This play! DeSean makes a great recovery and catch....but Vick flips that pass out as effortless as throwing a dart at a board. And it just explodes out of his hand
Man, Vick's arm and throwing technique is a thing of beauty. Barely even looks like he's cranking and throws so far Jackson still has to chase it. Even more amazing considering he was a small QB.
I fucking love Vick man Watched him in College he was the smallest person I ever seen that could throw laser beams! He threw this from his 4 yard line to the opponents 32 yard line.... Thats a 64 yard throw before the run after catch! Thats fucking incredible!
From the 4 yrd line to the opposing 34 with a quick release to hit a prime desean Jackson in stride .. D jack went 90% to 105% on those last 15 yards the ball was I. The air
This is what got me... I watch this video all the time. I noticed the last time I watched it- just how fast that referee was running with Desean Jackson! He was skating man!
Yall wanna know something crazy. Lamont Landry (the guy who's guarding deasean jackson) was talking shit to him before the game and first play this happens lol #EaglesNation
From the 4 yard line to about the 24 yard line...... dude had that ball in the air about 72 yards on a perfect line. I've been trying to recreate that throw my entire childhood
I’ll argue anyone that this THE best throw in the history of the sport. From the left hash deep rope 60 yards downfield to the fastest player in the league who had to accelerate slightly to catch it when most of the time he has slow down. There is no defense for that throw
I had my authentic Vick jersey on at the bar that night and as soon as he got ready to launch that pass I stood up and spilled beer on my jersey, lol I didn’t even care, VICK killed them that night
@@willbrench924 it’s only Lamar’s 3rd yr.. we all know Lamar still has room to grow and improve in his passing but let’s not act like he’s Daniel Jones, Sam darnold or even Josh Rosen.
@@marcusreed5862 Opposing teams have caught on their scheme and starting to shut them down making MAHOMES throw more short and intermediate passes instead of the home run minus last night vs the Raiders throwing for 406 yds 5 TD passes.
@@marcusreed5862 The Chiefs need to start using their bigger members of their WR core featuring Josh Gordon 6'3 220 and Marcus Kemp 6'4 210.Gordon at one time was the most feared deep threat in the NFL post Randy Moss.
As a lifelong Redskins fan, this was the most embarrassing game they've ever played. Look up the rant by 106.9 The Fan's Chad Dukes from the following day. One of the best rants you'll ever hear.
Great pass, great catch. But what about DeSean Jackson getting his head that far out over his body (over his skis as they say) and NOT going down like a sack of rocks. Insane athleticism. Oh...and the ref. What???
