The inconsistent part is.. the Spectre always knew he was no match to Lucifer so he always held himself to not try anything stupid with big luci even when he faced him accusing him or all evils... why would be he dumb to think he would be a match to his Twin?
@@christusomnipotens3751 Well, there's several occasions. First, within Vertigo, it was Gabriel, not Michael, who bested Lucifer during the war in Heaven. Then, somewhere relatively early on in the "Lucifer" series, said titular character delivers a mercy-killing on Michael in the Void outside of Creation, using the energies released therein to create his own totality of existence, as well as recreate Michael. During the latter part of the original Lucifer series, a Fenrir-possessed, weakened Lucifer faces off against an equally weakened Michael - I'd argue this could be seen as a "morals off Lucifer vs morals on Michael" matchup, which Lucifer wins, killing Michael. I believe there's another clash between them in the 2016 "Volume 2" of Lucifer, but quite frankly, that volume was of far lesser quality and I don't quite recall the finer details of it. Mind you, direct combat isn't *exactly* where Lucifer excels, too. He's more of a trickster, a thinker - much like John Constantine only then with far more raw power behind him?
@John doue Quebec Vertigo is a... Subsection, of DC? There *is* also a truly "mainstream" DC version of Lucifer who showed up in a few issues of this one series, but he was a short-lived flop.
Spectre might have lost but think about it, this also showcases how powerful he is. Heaven sent Michael out right off the bat just to deal with him. Anything below Michael could possibly result in an unnecessary loss.
He was never able to 'hold his own' . The Angels of God are not going to go all out to destroy a creature. They respond with restraint and love and scale up as needed to the task.
Michael chose not to use the Demiurgic Power (holding back) against the Spectre, likely because the power would destroy the vengeful spirit, which is not Michael’s goal. Michael outright says he has “a place in the scheme of things.” Michael not only beat The Spectre but also beat Primal Spectre which is much more powerful because Primal Spectre does not have a host (a host limits The Spectre's power)
I love spectre but even I knew he could’nt beat michael, Arch angels are freaking powerful, Even putting Darkseid insted of his avatars will still look weak to then, They are celestial beings, Nigh omnipresent, Nigh Omnipotent, and Nigh omniscience.
@Aqil Ahmad I think you might be confused... Micheal is the general of God's armies, and the one who smite Satan into hell... Wouldn't that make him the main?
Everythin in the multiverse gets its strenght from the presence.. even Dark side.... Just Michael and Lucifer are CLOSER to the source in the chain of distribution :P
Angel: Spectre is coming Saint Peter: open the gate Angel: He looks pissed off Saint Peter: close the gate Angel: He has a mace Saint Peter: go fly and get Michael
@Happy Life Michael was weakened beforehand and wasn't trying and lucifer was possessed by fenrir. Michael banished Lucifer to hell and Michael didn't fight or stop Lucifer when he killed him with his sword so he could create his own creation.
I don't like the Spectre because he's usually so op, but I felt bad for him here because all he wanted was to save a life, and was stopped by a bureaucrat with too much power. Classic case of justice denied because someone determined "it's against the rules".

The fact that Spectre couldn't defeat Michael, yet one of Trigon's great grandchildren was able to one shot him the very moment it was born speaks volumes about his power.
@@FreedomisPrecious Ik late reply, dunno why but only see this now. Spectre is a literal aspect of the Presence. Only he or an event that completly alters the omniverse, can erase him from existence like that. Otherwise he is eternal. In his prime he was one of the top most powerful characters besides the Presence himself. Let's also not ignore that Michael acknowledges him as formidable foe in this very issue and he is down on his knee after the fight. Their clash visible drained him, and this is after Aztar fell from grace and got stripped of his night unlimited power. Spectre is still an insanely powerful character after all the nerfs. He really shouldn't be lowballed like that. Not saying he was a match for Michael at the time, but clearly he stood his ground, and def can be more than a match if Presence allowed him to be powerful again.
@@yeyegtpp The presence and the great evil beast are one thing.. or different faces of one thing. Even Ellaine that is the second presence is just yet another facet of the same infinity...
@@Mafia-gh2ut No, the original presence, AKA YEHOWA is her grandfather. She is daughter of michael and niece of lucifer and was endowed ownership of the creation by YEHOWA when he left the multiverse. She is the multiverse itself as her "grandfather" was, but she is not her grandfather.. in fact she is EVERYTHING except her grandfather.
Spectre was also an angel 😇 before he rebelled with lucifer against god he was casted to hell but he repented for his sins so god took him from hell wiped he’s memory’s of his past life and made he’s spirit of vengeance
@@carlosbarreto4695 It's psychological warfare via propaganda. No one is above YHWH and everyone is going to find out when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to establish His Kingdom. All of these comics just rip off from the Biblical stories and other historical texts. They are interesting frictional depictions purely from an artistic point of view whereby the human psyche is playing around with ideas trying to be creative, but nothing more than that because we can only use what's in creation to be creative with. This is a one sided and fixed match - the Lord Jesus has won. Satan (Lucifer) is judged and his only plan is to take as many souls with him as he can into the lake of fire. Lucifer is the reason mankind fell from grace. Mankind still had the bear the concequences of our decisions by choosing sin over God's command. We have no place to accuse God of anything because we chose to learn about evil when God told us not to. When we learn about evil and enact it, we are not free from the concequences of that. But thanks be to Jesus Christ who has rescued us from this death sentence, all we need to do is place our faith and trust in Him alone. Those who are resurrected through Jesus Christ will be above all the angels and will judge them too. If you're interested you can look up a good biblical scholar called Dr Michael Heiser, specifically his topics on God's divine council. 👍🏻 May the Lord Jesus bless you and bring you to repentance. Maranatha, Amen. ✝️📜
@@damifash758 because they create the multiverse in the sandman comic they tell the story all the living things and the universe they were created by them so NOP all the things you mentioned they are just another things that Michael and Lucifer create so they are just nothing but dust !!!

@@damifash758 Nice joke🤣🤣🤣🤣 The Presence was long before Pralaya and Perpetua existed. The Source which is actually just an aspect of The Presence was able to send out a cosmic bird called The Cosmic Raptor which the bird dwarfed Perpetua's power and imprisoned her lol. The Presence is far more powerful than anything else in DC. Michael Demiurgos, and Lucifer Morningstar is still second only to The Presence they're not even in no exist on flashpoint or reboot. They're not in the Sphere of the Gods either, take for example Lucifer in New 52 there's even already Lucifer in Hell in that new map but actually it's not even Lucifer Morningstar as people know, Michael Demiurgos also same not only Michael Demiurgos and Lucifer Morningstar. Elaine Belloc and Gabriel Hornblower no exist on flashpoint or reboot. The Presence, Michael Demiurgos, or Lucifer Morningstar would destroys Pralaya or Perpetua in one on one battle. The Spectre for example, he sometimes becomes trash even Black Adam once to have defeated him. But if The Spectre is written correctly, he's a very high threat. In the past comics his aura alone is more than capable of bending the entire multiverse, and he's still got a lot of impressive feats. And Michael was shown defeating The Spectre very easily, he also defeated Primal Spectre which Primal Spectre was much powerful than Jim Corrigan Spectre or The Spectre has a host because the host limits The Spectre's power and Primal Spectre is pure God's wrath without a host so he have limitless/infinite power.
wow when comics would use christian characters in there comics but not know I remember in one ghost rider comic JESUS flat out saved the ghost rider from Satan sine he used his powers for good instead of evil but now you can't even bring up God in comics since there will be a lot of contravene you don't even have to be a christian to put God in a comic if you wanted to and this is going From A CHRISTIAN
I don’t understand this at all. Was a good fight don’t get me wrong but why would spectre not like someone going to heaven. It would be absolute paradise never to worry or fear again. Why would the spectre want them back in earth where we have hard times everyday.
I still think it's a huge feat that the Spectre stood up to Michael like that and actualy impressed him. Michael is one of the top most powerful DC entities after all.
Michael Demiurgos also beat Primal Spectre Force (unbound Spectre) not only Jim Corrigan Spectre. And Primal Spectre Force is much more powerful than Jim Corrigan Spectre Michael always beat The Spectre even without Demiurgic power (God power). If Michael used Demiurgic power, he can kill The Spectre
Michael is the highest warrior of heaven well in comics he have power of creation but this power belong only to God on holy bible he have vengeance power and will of god he bring the light
@Jamie Flynn are you stupid, lucifer was possessed by the strongest demon there is, and Michael didn't want to kill Lucifer that's why he let Lucifer kill him
It's the Spectre .... and he lost because he fought Michael, not only the most powerful angel but arguably the 2nd or 3rd most powerful entity in the entire DC metaverse.
The DC Comics power scale goes like this. 1. Overmonitor = The blank canvas /paper 2. The Presence = the pen/pencil 3. Thought Robot Superman = Eraser 4. Michael/Lucifer = power of the presence split into two to create the entire DC cosmos. There is an argument that the Monitors are more like writers since Mandrak was basically hinted at being a disgruntled publishing editor taken form as a villain from Grant Morrison. Then again, final crisis was just being Meta as fuck.
If we're going simply based off comic logic, Lucifer is basically 2nd only to the presence and Michael is damn near equal to Lucifer. It makes sense to me
Fun fact: Angels are actually "gods" and each of them have many different powers and meanings in their name such as Michael, Uriel, Kakziel, Gabriel Barman, Gad'reel, Ariel, Dumah, Nathaniel, Laurel and much more. I can't name all of them and one of them is said to rule the 5th heaven which goes to show some are in the 5th dimensional both below and above.
@@ericpena7418 I think he may be serious...like real life serious. Like occultic new age spirit journey kind of serious. Michael is higher tier nigh omnipotent Michael also beat Primal Spectre (Primal Spectre is true form of The Spectre), and Unbound Spectre. A host always limited his powers. After all, The Spectre has a scheme things, that's why Michael dare not destroy The Spectre outright see at 2:17 but if it is a bloodlust battle to died, Michael could destroy The Spectre outright with easy even without his powers.
Technically Spectre at his peak is far more powerful than Michael and Lucifer combined, because he's merged with the source. He became powerful enough to rival the presence, but fall short.
@@hanush9377 the dc multiverse is EXTREMELY inconsistent. The Presence might be the most powerful, or it might be perpetua. There's also the overvoid. And the moniters. Heaven and hell don't really fit anywhere in the map of the multiverse.
@@hanush9377 are you sure you're not talking about when he destroyed the logoz, the word of God? Because the logoz and overvoid are two different things, but both somehow created existence.

I'm sitting here thinking Spec was gonna hit em with the "Cram", and got his ass put in a seat. What I also do get is how could Spec lose? Shouldn't this have been a stale? They are are both powered from the same source.
Don Gadson Michael is the strongest being in creation next to the presence. In DC him and lucifer were given max power by the presence every other being was given tiny little remnants. Lucifer got infinite will, Michael got max power of creation. Spectre could never in his life compare to him.
There are maybe two beings in the multiverse that can deny Michael, God for sure and maybe Lucifer seeing how they are equal it would be a 50 50 shot at who wins.
@@FernandoComicsOfficial fights such as these are below living tribunal from marvel... hell odin vs seth from final jeopardy was more divine than this simply due to the fact that they rocked the whole multiverse just by blasting each other

Soooo ok i got questions. 1st. I thought the presence was the ultimate being and the spectre was the embodiment of his wrath. 2nd So is God's realm off limits to even the presence? 3rd. Is God in the comic over the presence? Over the overmoniter thing ect?😵😵😵
The presence is the ultimate being in the DC universe and is above everyone and everything( including the overmoniter) he’s the god and called god of the DC universe. When he gave specter the job of being the wrath of god it was mainly to watch over the multiverses. Heaven is where individuals have already been deemed pure by god and thus specter cannot touch them. Only the presence and the archangels can go into heaven at anytime. Everyone else has the be judged by god
Contrary to popular belief but Michael and Lucifer aren’t equals. Yahweh knew Samael would rebel so that’s why he gave Michael (The obedient son) the Demiurgos power. That’s what’s separates them
Yes. It's not like God woke up one day and saw a rebellion and said "This is surprising". 😂 I mean can we SOMETIMES surprise God? Just..no I guess not. Like a good joke or something he's never heard...well no that's not possible either. Darn. 😂
Chemical Z no chance period my friend. That’s MICHAEL. Lucifer was possessed by the most powerful demon and Michael didn’t wanna kill him in that comic and lucifer murders spectre in an instant because he has infinite will given by the presence. Michael is even stronger he has full power of creation
@@godares9009 Michael doesn't have full power of creation though. He only has the power to create energy out of nothing on a Godly level. He can't shape it. kinda weird that their both just 2 being powered by God presumably only as powerful as God wills it. This is kinda the same as Yahweh throwing 2 conflicting ideas in his head and pitting them against each other.
