The Flash is the fastest man alive! And what else would you expect? With an energy source like the Speed Force at your side, you could be the fastest man (or woman) alive too! ...But that doesn't make much sense, does it? The Flash isn't like Batman or Captain America. You can't always count on the same man hiding beneath the mask. In fact, over the years and through the multiverse, there have been DOZENS of Flashes! The Speed Force is hardly a private commodity! But obviously, every person who uses it cannot be "The Fastest Man Alive", so what gives? Who is the REAL master speedster? Faster than light. Faster than a tachyon. Faster than a Planck Instant. It almost seems like the only person fast enough to challenge the Flash... is the Flash.

*Additional Notes:* I recognize that Barry is the one who apparently generates the Speed Force, but it didn't come up in this video because, frankly, it isn't incredibly relevant. His showings are still consistent with the ranking provided here. He struggles to manipulate the energy just like everybody else and has lost control of it multiple times. Also, I still have no idea how one man generated a multiversal energy force that even he can't completely tap into.

No he hasnt. He has run the fastest somewhat measurable speed, bart and barry's speed couldnt be measured because they werent running through space, but through the time stream. Having absorbed more of the speedforce obviously means they ran faster than wally.

Wally’s faster than Barry as he has beaten him in flash war with Barry literally saying he’s the fastest man alive though in my opinion Wally earned being the fastest man alive after years of living under the shadow of his mentor and struggling to get out of it and that’s really his main story in his run trying to be just as good of a flash as Barry was and eventually surpassing him it’s not to say Barry is weak he’s still one of the fastest beings in dc it’s just I feel like his character and how he indirectly brought together the entire flash family is what makes him special.

I think that Barry was still the fastest because the original basic question was who is the fastest flash alive. The one who went the fastest (with assistance non the less) was Barry. The random girl isn’t even a flash anyway, she’s literally part of the speed force. It would be optimistic to even say she’s still a person. She more like the conscious of the speed force.

lagpai - Actually, Bart’s fastest speed was when he had absorbed the entire speed force within him from multiple points in time, and since the speed force is multi dimensional and doesn’t follow a linear timeline bart was able to have the power of multiple speed forces within him. Then he gave it all to Barry which led to the fastest flash feat ever, “fixing flashpoint”.

@@declanmorden technically if we are going by speed in general it would be Wally considering the time he went faster than instant teleportation which isn't even speed anymore its called trans time velocity, and a speedster only needs to go mach 2 to enter the speed-force so I imagine that all he would need to do is go at least mach 2 to change the timeline. I have only brought this up because you said Barry went the fastest after Bart gave him speed, so in all the fastest Flash who had assistance would be Wally after an entire planet gave him their speed.

actually Wally did tap into the Speedforce to outrun instant teleportation and also without Barry no speedster would even know about the speedforce it's generated by Barry but I have to admit that Bart Allen is only one that didn't need anyone's help to access the Speedforce.

With Flash Forward #1 Wally West is confirmed to be the fastest being in the multiverse. They can change it any time they want to, it was barry in new 52 because wally was erased from existance. But now it's Wally and it will probably stay that way or people will go crazy because they lost Wally and they got him back but he killed superheroes and he is in jail so DC just fucked him up lol. People are so pissed about it and if they make Barry the fastest while Wally exists, then people would stop reading the flash. Wally west is the best flash there ever was, he has the best persona, he is relatable he is fun and so on. You might think barry is the center of the speed force and he maintains the balance within the universo but wally is on top of everything. He is literally an anomaly right now because he exists in an universe where he didn't but the timeline is still there, he is the answer to fixing it. Wally West is the fastest man alive. Sela Allen isn't relevant and "she" is an entity of the speed force. Technically not human.

I'd say out of the main Flashes, Jay Garrick has the _potential_ to be the fastest. This is because he has the same Speed Force powers as every other Flash (this is referred to as being a "Speed Force Conduit") , but he *also* has an unrelated power while not tapping into the Speed Force that allows him to go at around 720 mph. This means that however fast any other Flash is while channeling the max amount of Speed Force, Jay Garrick is 700 mph faster while doing the same.

That's not how it works and Barry generating the Speed Force hasn't really been much of a thing since pre-N52. Wally is the fastest Flash, even now Barry struggles to do half the shit Wally done or does and his best feats don't even match mid tier Wally feats.

Gotta be honest, Barry being the creator of Speed Force was a dumb decision by Geoff Johns. As much as I love him, that was a lazy way to make Barry seem important again without any character development. Not to mention Barry Allen fans won't even acknowledge your argument about Wally's feat just because BaRrY CrEAtEd ThE SpeEd F0Rce (even though he never beat Wally in a race after Wally became Flash) is infinetly annoying.

She's not the speed force, but part of it, you don't become the entire thing by merging with if in any term and still keep you mind, you became it, you older self is no more, fisicaly or mentaly, both are gone forever. The way she's there is like that, she's living there, not part of it, if it had become the accelerating force, no part of its "existence" would be there anymore, including her mind. If you are traped in there(her case), if there's something of you remaining, someone could recue you from there ... as Barry did sometimes, or you be there forever. So she is NOT the speed force, as you say yourself in other videos, the speed force it is an immaterial concept without physical form or mind. Even if she was (which is not the case), Barry makes the "speed force itself", she get's traped in something Barry generates and the best explanation that writers could give was that... prety lame at the time, still lame right now. And since she does not exist outside of the speed force anymore, just a projection of herself, in pratical terms she's not even a speedster, i mean, you gota have a fisical body to actualy ... run ? She became a "resident" of the force of acceleration, for lack of a better term.

Note:So when barry was gone i had some resreach and it seem's that when you die by turing into dust or whatever you have to run fast enough to go to another earth so you see bart turn into dust but why didn't barry turn into dust because his body was injured so he could not go as fast as bart but he could go fast enough to catch up with his other self.
