I admire her being able to bounce back despite her issues. She still can really sing & with that speaking voice she should be able to make a fortune in voice over. She seems to have a sweet spirit & wish her all the best.
Those being judgemental about her having kids with both of these men calm down give her a break she only has two kids one with each guy the eldest is 22 the youngest 10. That's a long time between the two kids so there's a story there.
For those of you that are fans of her music BUT shocked by her speaking voice, her very 1st hit, "No More Lies" has her speaking voice on it, I am not sure why some of you are so shocked, I knew of her since the 80's with "Turn Off The Lights" not surprised but carry on....

No, that behavior there was a result of the drug addiction she was fighting as well. Because I've seen her in interviews after this one and I've never seen her like this.

That voice still is hilarious to me, probably even more so now. Nevertheless, I just bought the first album again but had I known about the nose job I wouldn't have. I don't support self-hate. Anyone want a copy of her first album? No longer a fan and the cd is no longer needed nor wanted in my household or my computer.
I watched a interview with her saying her nose was broken by Dr Dre. So she had to get her nose fixed. She was beaten and he also allegedly gave her 5 black eyes.

There's a video on RU-vid, called The breakfast club where she said it during her interview. Look it up when you have time. It's crazy how we don't know what's going on behind closed doors. He took advantage of her low self-esteem, but in her music, I hear strength.
I've never seen her reality show but mine and several other's opinion, who attended her "concert", she should stick to reality t.v. I want my $25 back! She was horrible! She forgot the words to a song. I knew she only had about 3 cuts, and that's all she "performed", but who expected her to sing the theme song to The Golden Girls show and then have the nerve to want the audience to sing along. I WANT MY $25 BACK!!!!
I don't know what her what was going on at that particular concert. But she is one of the best singers ever. I haven't heard her sing in awhile but I find it hard to believe all her extra ordinary talent when she sings is gone.
