I bought the album back in 1975-76 and knew Michel was one rare gifted singer-songwriter. This song is just one of many that I am proud to say is a favourite - a simply superb melding of electrical guitar and violin, and the lyrics, in that French accent, couldn't be bettered by the best singers in the world. This guy should have been a far greater success and although now better recognised, I think his work is timeless and might yet become known as among the greatest out there. Thank you Michel, you've given myself and the world a lot of pleasure. With sincere regards. Mark. BBC Second Side Up Radio. London. (Its on the BBC iPlayer and here on RU-vid).
