My v85 came with Dunlop's Trailmax Meridians, whilst ok on road, a trip to southern Spain from the UK has squared them badly, so ill be fitting the michelins when i'm back. I, ordered pivot pegs to replace the original foot pegs, they work really well changing gear and braking, and are massive, bit expensive mind, and on the website it charges you a bloody import tax right at the end on the order page, I was to far in to cancel ! They only took minutes to fit and are really well made. keep up the good work 👍

Nice job, Noj. You and I think very much alike. I’ve run 4 sets of Anakee Adventure’s on my 2020, swapping out front and rear after ~9,000 miles (original set) to almost 11,000 miles (last set). My experience has been the same and think they are a great 80:20 tire with fantastic performance on tarmac. I love carving canyon twisties on the V85TT with those tires. All that being said, I did swap the Anakees out for some Continental TKC 70 (and 70 Rocks for the rear) for a recent trip to Baja. A slightly more aggressive tread pattern with slightly better traction off tarmac. Not enough of a difference to make up for my lack of riding skill in deep sand and I’ll go back to the Anakees for my next set. Re:foot pegs, I swapped out the OEMs with some ones from Rizoma, which are wider and do not have any rubber. The wider pegs make for a more comfortable (confident?) ride when standing on the pegs. How are you liking the front mud guard? I considered getting that but was concerned with the relatively small gap to clear any rocks that may get caught in the tread. Any issues there?

Hi 👍 No probs at all with the front mud guard. Been loving your videos, and agree we appear to have a lot in common - same taste in bikes, I even wore my Shoei with green bands today 🤣 also a fan of banksy art work! Would love to get together for a beer, and a run out on the bikes - shame about the 5000 mile gap and all that water 😉👍

Yes Noj, looks like your doing well from flicking through a few videos, Neil did say you had been busy on your bike. Stoked for you mate you deserve a good slice of down time, soak it up dude.. I will be back in Barcelona towards the end of February, if you happen to pass through Catalonia around then give me a shout and we can grab a Caña and some tapa! It's Sam btw ✌

Yes Noj same as you...complete confidence in the Anakee Adventures. I don't ride my V85tt off road though, it's far too precious to me! I do have a little crf though for messing about on. The only other tyres that interested me were Road 6's or Continental Trail Attack 3's. It's always difficult to change if you're already running decent tyres. Take care.

'22 Centenario came with Dunlop's Trailmax Meridians. 80/20. Good tire but roadish oriented. Would not hesitate to do gravel roads with them. Thank you for the review.

Cheers for the comment 👍 I should have done more research on the tyre choice available on newer models 🖖

I have meridians on now because the trailsmart max are not available anymore. Meridians don't seem as good on wet roads, and don't have as deep a tread. The trailsmart max I changed at 8300 miles and they probably would have lasted over 9k.

My '22 Guardia came with those as well. I think they are a 90/10 though. I'm looking to move to a 80/20, 70/30 or even a 60/40. I just picked it up a week ago and haven't been able to do any real gravel roads though. Looking at the TKC 70s, Missions or the Anakees.

@@rememberitsallagame Very good for the road [90/10]. I have scrapped pegs many times with them. But I am considering Mitas E07+ rear and TKC 70 front for my next tyre as I want to do more off-road here in NI. Lnaes can get slippy so I'd need more aggressive knobbies
